Ex-Woolworths re-opens as a 99p Store in Lymington

Our old Woolworths in Twickenham is now a 99p store and it is doing very well by the look of it.

Ah funny I should find this video. I walked past this shop last Friday {21-5-2010} and wondered if it was an old Woolworths store. The old Woolworths in Twickenham is now also a 99p store. The funny thing is that there was alot of local opposition to it as people thought it would look bad in what is a rather more affluent area compared to neighbouring towns...On the opening day there was a queue outside. Snobbery is a funny thing...But I suppose we are all falling on harder times.
