I love London so much! When I was there, the transportation systems were scarce, and I never saw Parliment, or westminster abbey, or the Londond eye. I saw Tower bridge and walked to the north and shopped in Camden, which was just so amazing.

I hope I can go back and do all of the tourist-y things someday.

What she says about Piccadilly circus is dead right. It's a horrible place to be especially at night. However, most of central London is far too busy for my liking. Once you get North of Watford things get much better!

London is one of the best cities I have ever been to. Even the ghettos are much cleaner than some of the places here in California. Of course every city has it's bad parts and your going to come across people that are assholes, but the vast majority of brits are wonderful people and are far from snobs. The few people that were rude to me in England I just blamed the person, not the culture.

I so agree with you. As much as I like to go to England (since my wife is from London), I don't go there for their "passive agressive attitude". England is replete with those that can dish it out but quite certainly can't take it. They're not called the "Mad English" for nothing. I prefer to visit smaller towns in England, perferably in the Devon/Cornwall areas.
