ha ha ha. what a good idea. you should do the whole of mirror with a goblin soundtrack. might destroy the whole metaphysical poetry side of things, but he never saved humanity with his vision, so fuck it!
you completely misunderstood the film, the purpose, the lyrical attempt, the idea of "abstract".
it's not supposed to be "horror movie scary" - tarkovsky didn't try to creat new horror expressions for the pitiful horror film industry - he tried to present the mysterious cognitive proccess of being.
but don't be offended,
we both are, i guess,
tarkovsky fans in an age where these films are no longer possible.
I think you should check out my description above, where I say, "It's interesting to see how certain images can be repurposed, cheapened or even deepened by music and editing."
The whole idea was to blaspheme upon Tarkovsky's work, to "cheapen" the imagery, as an experiment. When I get a chance, I'll put up some Ho'wood hackwork "deepened" by removing it from its crass context.
Film images are so malleable, and easily "colored" by their narrative context, sound, etc.

Tarkovsky meets Argento. The former would turn in his grave. This had to happen though. No harm. Good stuff.
