Awww mannn! This def took me wayyy back!! Classic hip hop that will never get old. Dam... the memories this song brings back are just crazy.. nothing like being a teen in the 90s rockin out to this type of ish!
@tokri3 hahaha ur not down with reading in between the lines are you...im low key like seashells....seashells are a low profile thing..in other words laying low...because hes got the heat after him..he has to lay low like a seashell... all of those lines are pretty easy to understand just think a bit more instead of criticising.
i just heard about a possible Liquid Swords 2??!?!?!!!!?!?! with RZA beats??!?!!? i dont care wtf they call it its gonna be ill. i wish that wu-massacre shit had some GZA on it
@Meth05red Man I really hope it's as ill as this album because after this album Gza somewaht fell off a bit, his next album got pretty pitiful sales other than people who really felt liquid swords and were really hoping for more like it.
However, alot of GZA's input in other Wu songs and his own tracks are nice, and having finally seen that foo in Coffee and Cigarettes, i feel like i can really appreciate him.
Hes the child educator and head amputator because his lyrics are about smart shit, not fuckin lil wayne's 'i wanna do every girl in the earth'. but on the other hand, he lets the other fakeass rappers know that rap is like a tree, the roots live underground, hence the quote "I put mad pressure, on phony wack rhymes that get hurt, shits played, like zodiac signs on sweatshirts" noim sayin?
thats a bold statement, there are a lot of great solo wu member albums. Ol Dirty Bastards albums were my favorite, but Gza's 3rd solo was just as good as Liquid swords. Inspectah Deck's album Uncontrolled substance was the most underated I think. .

k this is really starting to bug me
its not a wu album
Its GZA's 2nd solo album yeah its all produced by RZA but technically its GZA every other member of the wu on this album is a featured guest
non the less best !!!!SOLO!!!! album from any of the wu members
Ppascoe 2 years ago
it basically is a wutang album if every member is on it

some sea shells either play a low key sound when blown into, others you can just put ur ear to them and hear a relaxing wind tone
