  • Holy shittttt thats fucking badddassss!!!!!! fun as helll :P FUCK YA

  • That thing looks sketchy. I like it!

  • This thing has WAY too much power but great job with it. looks like a riot

  • me want!

  • nice

  • man would i have a headache after riding that

  • @yamaharules163 ....yeah, it was not a smooth ride at all.

  • Yea i think thats what I will do because I only get a top speed of about 52 MPH with the stock chain case to small of a gear in side. I think I will keep the chain case but just take out the guts so it will still hold the axle in place and figure out a jack shaft and sprocket setup. Do you have the stock secondary on yours the stock one sucks so I think I will try to figure out how to put a snowmobile one on I think the snowmobile shaft is a quarter inch bigger. Thanks for the Reply

  • @oddyextreme .......Yes, we used the stock secondary clutch, we took it apart and cleaned it out. We didn't have any shifting issues with it that I knew of. We did have to put a spacer into the stock AC 440 clutch to fit the narrower belt.

  • are you using the stock chain case I have a 400 in mine and cant get any top end with it. I was thinking about getting rid of the chain case and doing a jack shaft and sproket setup does this sound like it would work.

  • @oddyextreme ....That was the biggest problem with this machine, keeping chains from breaking. Yes, we used the stock chaincase (actually replaced it 4 times) with an aftermarket street bike race o-ring chain. This machine is geared so low you almost couldn't push it. I attempted to get the other guys on the project to go with a sprocket idea, I though it was a really good idea because you could just change sprockets from different speeds when needed. I think it would work.

  • It lifts the nose so easy that it becomes dangerous and not fun to drive...Yet its awsome!!!!

  • THAT THING IS ONE HELL OF A BAD JOHNNY BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HELLA FUN

  • it looks like the ride is so rough haha. next thing you need is some suspension? lol

  • I'd like to race you with my 1985 honda 350x

  • I'm bout to put a rotax 500 (494) from a ski doo summit on a two seater, not much bigger than this.. .. does anyone know how the hp should compare??

  • @calholli Depends on the year and if the engine has power valves. A Ski-doo dealer should be able to tell you the HP. I know the REV 500SS engine (the old 600 in the ZX chassis) is approximatly 105 hp.

  • @Burnem79 ... it says rotax, adjustable, variable, exaust.. but I'm not sure what that is.... I have a rm 250 dirtbike that has powervalves .... but the rotax doesn't have it like that..... does anyone no what the RAVE does?

  • how much thos cost?

  • thats nuts, not 105 horse but looks like it would be ridiculously fun

  • @hondafourstroke , for 2001 Arctic Cat claimed 105hp from their 440 snowcross race sled engine (I think the consumer 440 was half that or something). We never had any proof this is what we were getting. It was a lot of fun, when we weren't working on replacing the chain and chaincase.

  • @Burnem79 yeah, the full blown racing sled is 105hp on Cam2 race fuel.

the consumer 440 is still pretty high up there in power for a 440. its like 90hp.

  • @Turbojeep23 -yeah you're right, I wasn't thinking the power came from the high compression heads and race fuel. So I guess if we left the high compression heads on it and ran race fuel in it, then it would be the claimed 105 HP. We were running 93 in it at the time (cheaper and more readily available that Cam2). Thanks glad you pointed that out!

  • I have a question for anyone who would know what they are talking about.I've been wanting one of these bad ass toys for awhile .I have a brand spanking new Harley 1200 custom engine that was going to be used for a project bike that I changed my mind on.How hard would it be to adapt a V-twin engine to a Honda Odyssey ?

  • @demmylowther , I think the biggest problem is going to be space, then how to attach the engine to the Odyssey clutch and chaincase. If you come up with a solution make sure you post it.

  • As a Honda Purist i would rather see a honda engine in it . howeever it looks absolutely unreal

  • @hwbd , When we bought it, it had no engine. A Rotax fan 440 was the original engine, then this Sno Pro engine after the fan engine blew.

  • what do you think would happen if i put a twin cylinder yamaha free air in one

  • @MidwestMadness775 -I'm sure it would be fine, but you're not going to get the power you would from a liquid cooled engine. We originally had a Rotax 440 fan engine in it. It was a lot of fun until we found out what the 440 SnoPro engine did. The fan wouldn't be as complicated, no radiator and the stock Odyssey chain will probably work.

  • What kind of mods did you have to do, eg. motormounts, etc.? Just got 2 of them, rolling frames, one with engine that has compression, but all else is unknown so far. I'd like to look around for a sled engine, so I'm just curious.

  • @jaystonerider, the engine plate was just some tube steel, no motor mounts. This was a mistake because it would vibrate very bad. Everything was based off clutch alignment. You'll need to find a belt that will work first, then position the engine. From there place the gas tank, oil tank, exhaust all in remaining locations. I look at this now and so glad we did this, because none of us have time to even think of a project like this now. -Aaron

  • It would be nice to hear this thing "get up and drop a bomb shell" instead of this lame music.

  • You must not have watched it to the end then. It sounds like a snowmobile, nothing special.

  • @Mercy040 ya its better with the music, it makes the video better even tho it would be awsome even without any sound, nice job with the odyssey dude!!!!! that thing is beast!!!!!

  • wow that 440 really brings it to life, that headlight is way bright too ,good job!!

  • haha dats crazy

  • If someone wants one I have one with a 500cc motor,,, Needs finishing. Runs and operates as it is. Fuckin scary!!

  • u still have the oddyssey

  • @DezmenUrlacher Sorry. Traded for an SKS and some cash.

  • That thing would be so much fun!!

  • haha thats badass

  • i had two of the 250s and traded them for a boat......the boat runs great built well but i wish i wouldnt have traded cause these oddesys are so much fun

  • i did the same thing with a 750 kz. inline 4 cyl motor cycle engine. they claimed 77 horse but its pretty torquy too. had to extend the frame by a foot to get the engine to fit. still rides a wheely in 2nd though... scary with no suspension.

  • Yes I agree, without suspension it could get out of control real fast!

  • Do you have plans on how u built that thing id like to build one exactly like it!?

  • 105 hp from a 440 ?

  • Arctic Cat claimed 105 hp from their 2001 440 liquid cooled 440 Sno Pro race engine. We have no proof this machine had this actual power.

  • @bestdirectorsever yea the 440 sno pro has 105hp, regular 440 has like 76 or so

  • Yes, exactly. Thanks.

  • should put a nitro methane engine in it :D

  • would that engine fit in a pilot fl400?

  • why arent you wearing helmets???

  • because they are crazy and got no brain...

  • that thing would be the best thing ever if it had suspension

  • It has a shitty front suspension, the rear has none at all though :o

  • dont get a quad, fls are cool!!! way safer too!! dont hate

  • lmao that thing is gay get a quad dude..

  • thats nothin. got a bussa 1300 in my pilot. 205hp! vids soon

  • I'd like to see some videos of this...didn't see any on your account.

  • dude illl buy

  • Enough :)

  • Thank you!

  • thats a crazy nice go cart would sell it you should run it next to a car and point the camra at the speed domater

  • do you think that size radiator would work with a zr 600 motor

  • I would think so, I'm not sure on the cc's of the engine in a Geo Metro but I'd guess it was larger, requiring more cooling capacity. You are probably alright.

  • well dude that is something that is hard to put a price tag on because of all the time the owner put in himself but all ther peices could cost anywhere from 1000 to 5000

  • You are exactly right.

  • one thing is missing...

guns on the side, with a big f8cking american flag

  • i would have put a skidoo engine in it but how much are one of these worth cause i want to buy one but i dont want to pay arey more then they are worth

  • I believe we had almost $4000 into it all set and done. We took our time and did it right, not cobbing it like many other projects in the past.

  • yea i do that too i take my time i dont just throw it together and leave a cobbled up mess because when i build something i expect it to last but its been my dream to own one after i got my 250r

  • my dad has 1 its so fun 2 drive in the snow but yeah it runs on a snowmobile engine

  • That is badass!!! i want one!!

  • is it fan cooled or liquid cooled?

  • Liquid cooled Arctic Cat 440 SnoPro engine, Geo Metro radiator was used for cooling.

  • haha those things are awesome i drove a stock one yesterday all they need is 4 wheel suspension and it would g great

  • el invento esta brutal yo quiero unooooo!

  • how did you draw 105 horse from a 440??

  • This is claimed HP from Arctic Cat, we have no proof our engine was producing that kind of power.

  • i just bought an fl250 last week with a 540 yamaha snowmobile engine its so sick and its liquid cooled i love oddys only one problem.....its strait stinger pipe this thing needs a muffler badly lol

  • Did you use the stock secondary cutch or a snowmobile one becouse i cant get any top end with mine with the stock one

  • i have the sled one only because i figured that the stock one wouldn't be able to handle the power the way it should and i would hate to see my power being restricted... what are you usin and what engine i'd love to see your ody

  • i have a 400 artic cat motor in mine and i have a really sweet roll cage with a nice racing seat. how did you get the snowmobile clutch on did you have a custom sleeve made cuz the shaft is 3/4 and i think most snomobile shafts are 1 inch. I will send you pics of mine you will love the roll cage on mine and i have no plastic on it.

  • We used the stock one and it wasn't good. We had to rebuild the stock 440 clutch and add shims to fit the correct Odyssey belt.

  • you shoudve slap an f7 engine in that

  • I can only imagine what that would have been like, especially with that first year F7 engine! The 440 was available at the right price.

  • youd be able to go over a 100 mph lol.. i just got my fl 250 rebuilt its loud as fuck but so much fun i got an 06 f5 i wonder how that be in my oddy

  • wahat motor'

  • how much can i pick up a stock one for? also how much for the pilot?

  • Anything in good condition is going to be some decent coin, if you can even find one. Check ebay.

  • i bought mine for 400 bucks with a 540 yamaha in it!

  • yea i think thats a little high of a number if it is a stock 440 snow pro

  • so my thundercat 900 pushing 190hp or polaris xlt 600 pushing 150hp is out of the question??...100hp in a sled is nothing, and easy to make...most sleds make that or more stock

  • how would your xlt 600 have 150 hp unless its modded out they only have in the 90's for hp

  • i rode one that had a cr 500 motor on it once it was beast. i would like to ride that one two! looks fun

  • how much do you want for it or asking for it

  • Sorry, we sold it a couple years ago.

  • nice! Gives me an idea.......

  • dude why sell it? its too good to get rid of. that is soo insane for power to weight! man it seems perfect for packed snow, packed dirt, or gravel but not bumpy offroading due to no rear suspension. crazy video though. i think it was one of the best go kart videos on you tube!

  • this is the coolest cart EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • BAD ASS...

  • i think its the PERFECT ride for the weekend warrior!

  • my 350 odyessy has independent rear just like a pilot. i think it was one of the last year make of the odyessy. looks more like a white pilot with gold wheels

  • pilots are better =/

  • We had one of them as well. Comfort wise it was better, but no comparison to the power of the 440.

  • i would consider a kidney belt. lol

  • too bad its not a pilot.

  • WOW! Does this thing have a rear swing arm like an atv or is it independent?

  • The Odyssey has nothing, the axle is mounted through carrier bearings to the frame. The only suspension in the back is the squish of the tires. Honda built a Pilot and that had full independent suspension front and rear.

  • HELL YES !! CAN I RIDE IT ?

  • what is the song? i realy like the song!!

  • It's Powerman 5000, Bomb Shell.

  • I like your van.

  • Thanks, I think? If I knew this weeks ago my buddy could have given it to you. He gave it away to a friend.

  • how good is the stock motor on gas do you no

  • I have no idea, do a search on youtube, there are original machines on here. You could ask those people. We never considered it because we like high HP in small vehicles and the original engine was blown.

  • hey i just got one of tes same year and all and i wana put a sled engine in it and i was wondering did you have to make any big changes to the engine area to make it fit and will the axel take all the torqu well thx..

  • The engine area I believe was cleared of all old engine mounting. We built a base for the engine and mounted it. As for the axle, that was fine. The chain case on the other hand was the weakest link(literly). Depending on the engine you used you'll need to replace the chain with a strong o-ring racing chain from a street bike. We must have broke 3-4 chain cases and the only place to buy one was ebay. Send me your e-mail and I'll send pictures.

  • alright thx ill send you my e mail

  • how much do u want for that thing

  • Sorry, sold it last year.

  • how much did you sell it for?

  • Hi I change gears with left foot peddle , right foot brake , left hand clutch lever on steering wheel , throttle right hand lever on steering wheel.. check out my vid man ..Dazza

  • Man that beast looks just like mine ...honda odyssey 750cc with road bike motor . excellent ..go hard dude. dazzaman67

  • 750?! That has to fly! Do you still use the chaincase with your setup? How do you shift?

  • who did the motor swap???

i just picked up a 85 FL250 ody for $500...it needs piston rings.... should i just swap tha engine for a rotex snowmobile engine.. i can pick up for $100?

  • We did all the work to the machine. Depending on the cost and availibility of the piston and rings, along with the rest of the top end parts, you might be better off with an engine swap. There's a bit of fabricating that needs to be done to do this though. I'd weight out the two options before doing anything.

  • how much you want for it, i live in pa, and growing up me and my dad restoresd a fl250 and nothing was stock, everything was bigger better and it was fucking fast, we sold it though, and if you know were to find anymore odessy let me know

  • Sorry, sold it last summer.

  • The FL250's are cheap and fun, but the serious ones are the FL350 and the Pilot. Full A-arms in front and actual suspension in the rear. Hoping to sell me FL250 to get one. :)

  • i have got 2 of them and i would like to know what i have to do to it to make it crazy good i have the money to put into i just don't know what to do if you have any ideas plz let me know

  • would be nice to hear the engine instead of the music on occasion.

  • Fuckin sick. I want one, no two.

  • love the wooly booger tires they get mad traction

  • how did you mount it to the back if its not the original motor because i have one but i have a Yamaha 500 snowmobile motor and i was wondering how you put yours on?

  • We had to build a pedestal type frame to mount the engine on. The exhaust went under the engine. Send me your e-mail and I can send you pictures.

  • how much and where are you located.

  • Sorry, we sold it last summer.

  • grow a pair, and dont start crying until after you really do crash........ close calls are just funny

  • Close calls are the best, especially on video.

  • hey are you still sellin it?? or is it already sold?? if so how much did you let it go for??

  • Sorry, we sold it last summer, see alicecoop9009 video reply above, they bought it. I think it was $2200 or so.

  • i have an '81 odyssey...i just rebuilt the 250 it has and i'm in the process of buying an electric start for it...i wanna do something like what u did cuz i have an extra 4.3L Vortec sitting around from my blazer...i was wondering if that would work...

  • That I would like to see!! I don't think there's ehough space for it without lengething the wheel base. What did you have in mind for a transmission?

  • how do you make it pop a wheely

  • The gear ratio was very low with the stock chain case. You almost couldn't push the machine when it was off. WIth a claimed 105HP from the snowmobile engine, all you needed to do was aim the machine straight and give it a handfull of throttle!

  • i just thought i would let you know that is one bad ass machine i had one for years but i never could get the thing set up the way i wanted to be so i ended up selling it but whatching this video makes me want to go find it and buy it back

  • Thanks a lot, it was a fun project as well as a fun machine to drive.

  • Wide open! Looks like most of the people who ride this machine get a suprise visit from the shite-weasel.

"I'll punch you in your eye-hole"

  • Ca-Caw! The weasel is always close by along with Spock.

  • That looks like fun!!

  • ok thanks cause some people have told me it would never work but it seems like it worker for you

  • ok thanks cause some people have told me it would never work but it seems like it worker for you

  • its air cooled so thanks like i said i havent run it yet but i was sure if it was going to be a problem

  • If the carbs are jetted correctly the engine should be fine. Keep track of it with a temperature gun or something though while riding it. We had a Rotax 440 originally in in and there were no over heating problems.

  • Air or liquid cooled? If air cooled mount small car battery and run turbo fans on head and put scoops to funnel air while riding.

  • ok ive just put a 440 john deere snowmobile engine on a honda odyssey but havent finished the gas tank and throttle cable i was wondering if you had any problems with over heating because its a snowmobile motor

  • holy crap where do i get one?

  • ooooooooooo :)

  • well ya if u go n e faster with this thing its gonna get squirlie i like the low gears and id like to see it at glamis at the hill with some paddles running against the rhinos up the hill

  • Exactly, to us the hole shot was more important, especially for the short drag racing we entered it into. With no suspension in the back and little in the front, it would destroy your body in no time in the dunes.

  • hey how much you askin ?

  • Sorry, sold. Check out alicecoop video response above, they bought it.

  • ok a gay gear ratio for that power n end result top speed ?

  • I wanted to eliminate the chaincase but with the snowmobile clutches there needed to be a transfer from belt to chain somewhere. Also, the owner of the machine didn't want to!

  • whats this song

  • It is Powerman 5000 - Bombshell.

  • ooo its a fair chunk of power for onli 59 if ya get me

  • The bottom end is where the power is used. The chaincase was set for low end mostly because the factory engine was something like 30hp. HP isn't always about speed!

  • didnt looks that fast wen he came past givin it some

  • It really isn't that fast, we GPS the macine once and in 100 yards it was up to 59mph. I believe that's all it had because the secondary clutch wasn't shifting like it should.

  • is that a 250 frame? rad motor! '_'
