The part that got me to cry was when Tia did, she finally found the one thing that could get hear tears flowing... Maxim, heh struggling not to cry typing this =), tis useless
yea i remember not being able to accept this. it was so bad that i convinced myself that if i beat that 99 level cave then i'll get the good ending... sigh
I personally have finished this game at least a dozen times and every time when it comes to the end i always shed a tear. amazing game it's a shame they did such a dodgy remake of it on the ds now future generations will only remember it as some P.O.S on the ds.
Also who ever disliked this must be a real heartless bastard.
i love this game so much. this is my favourite game of all time and this is one of he most touching songs iv ever heard. i want an orchestral remix of this played at my fukn funeral i swear.
you are a very very very cool guy for posting this
Lufia 2 was the first RPG I ever got into. I remembered getting so excited about beating the game. I ended up crying myself to sleep when I finally beat it and saw the ending cutscene. I was 12. Maxim & Selan's deaths broke my heart :'(
I always thought this song was happier. It can strike up strong emotions, yes, because of its use throughout the story. I mourned the two as much as Decker or Guy did. However, just listen - it's hopeful, uplifting, and befitting of the peace everyone's actions brings to the world. Well, until Lufia I, anyways. Sad or no, it's still another gateway to my fondest childhood memories.
I played really many rpgs but i have to say, that Lufia is still the best in my opinion. The soundtrack is great, the story is really good, there is much to do and much to explore and the end was overwhelming.
I agree completely. I've played many RPGs as well, but very few I ever come back to. This is one of those few. Challenging puzzles, great story, equally great soundtrack, good battle system, and some nice extras.
The ending is also great. A sad one, but also a hopeful one at the same time.
Responder a este vídeo... t's one of my favourite Rpgs, but still I kinda like more the "Tales Of" saga, apart of that and Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger i trully think this is one of the best Rpgs ever made. And possibly it is the Rpg with best Soundtrack and Ending.
yeah unfortunately to lufia 3 which is really crap and its on gameboy colour, also lufia 4 which is on GBA, but my opinion Lufia II on snes is the best of them all. : )
Wow I absolutely love this game and this song, loll when I rebooted my computer I lost my save states I was fucking pissed because I lost the ending,I loved the song,I replayed the whole game just for this part!
Such a touching and wonderful theme. And at 6:06 it gets so epic that it's almost overwhelmingly beautiful. Images and moments from the game start flooding my brain.
I like the first version better. Come to think of it, both play during sad moments in the game. The first time it plays, i kept thinking "Yea, I'll see her again, she'll come back" and then i reached the end and she didn't :(. The game kinda teaches you to cherish what you have, because you never know when it may end. Two thumbs for the pick!
i have the zsnesw emulator (snes), its easy, only download the rom (game) there are many sites for download the rom, open the snes emulator, open the rom , waula then you can play, you only need the intenet only to download the roms
Very underrated story. I admit I cried too.

You know what the worst part about Lufia II is?
After Maxim breaks the stones, and becomes a spirit, he and Selan circle the Earth.
You get to see Artea talking about how they'll get to meet the world's greatest hero.
You see Guy talking about a party that EVERYONE will be at - Maxim, Selan, Lexis, Dekar, Artea, everyone.
You see Dekar telling his soldier buddy that Maxim couldn't be dead, because they didn't spar yet.
And you get to see the old lady tell Jeros his parents will return...
;_;

You know whats retarded.. here in Holland this was the only Lufia released. Glad I got it. And it was really, really great. Epic RPG like Golden Sun.
