In Voyager the borg are just another race of space nazis. I likes them more in TNG, when they were one big machine that completely ignores all attempts to negotiate.

@Yora2always want to return to a time in the past where the presence of one is the excepted norm where all others are only allowed to follow and do not have a concious and beleive that the one at the center gives them all they need where personal liberties and freedoms are not allowed. Glenn Beck is a perfect example of Borg Queen. He wants the U.S. to return to it's roots of when only white property owning men had the right to vote while all others were considered not important except as drones

well you're wrong...they didn't really become weak...remember, Voyager gained so much technology and experience that could make the Enterprise scream 'mommy'....let us not forget also that species 8472 can kick the Borg's ass...just becuase 8472 was not available in the other quadrants doesn't mean the Borg were stronger then.

the Federation could have never fought them like Voyager did, because they never encountered and learned what did.

It was the battle of Wolf 359. Sisko and his wife were assigned to a starship during that battle. Sisko's wife was killed and he was forced to leave her body behind as the crew evacuated in escape pods. It was the first episode of DS9 entitled "Emissary."

Really nice video!!! Fits perfectly with the music! I like it :D I have only 1 tip: don't use "talking heads". (in the first minute) The audience doesn't know what they are saying. I also got this tip a year ago from a profesional tv commercial editor. Ever since I limit or completely remove "talking heads".

Curious, I have not seen that established. And the tactical cube is from "Unimatrix Zero" part 2, not "Scorpion parts 1 or 2".

Unimatrix zero takes place after Scorpion. The Borg didn't have tactical cubes in Scorpion. After the war with species 8472, I suppose they decided that a few upgrades were in order. I did read that somewhere but I can't recall where. I believe it may have been stated in a Star Trek video game, actually (which is non-canon but still makes sense since we didn't see them before that time).

Okay, I agree with the ending. Maybe 3.19 would have been a good point to let the song end with the explosion of the collective from endgame. Just an idea. Other than that I liked your video, good job :)

The music actually increases tempo again at around the 5 minute mark. It is close to 8 minutes long total. Videos *that* long tend to lose their interest, though. I could have shortened it by eliminating some clips or by using faster transitions and displaying the clips at a higher rate of speed. Honestly, I didn't like the project enough to prolong it any so I just wrapped it up as is.

Yeah, I prefer the first two videos I made to this one. Of course, it's just a matter of personal preference. A lot of fans love the Borg episodes (as do I). I just happen to like episodes like "The Inner Light" more.

nice job.. but the ending seems anti climatic. Maybe a nice borg cube exploding or a fade out instead of the box wipe.

The first version used a fade effect at the end. It didn't work much better than this one. The problem is that the music winds down at the end and won't really support anything as dramatic as a cube explosion. I tried it and it looked somehow out of place there. The entire video is full of tension. I needed some way to wind it down.

I would also add that this type video isn't really to my liking. I prefer the exploration side of Trek, not the combat side. In any universe, there will always be evil that needs opposing, I just prefer the interaction between the characters to the combat. That's probably why this video isn't very good.
