@arctictimberwolf fact really is when a proposal goes in to the government they either have to have their pockets filled, or they need an incentive in order to make it pass.
"Who will build roads?" Who will cover the costs of supplying food if there are no government-run supermarkets?
"Who will take care of the sick and elderly?" It's great to hear your concern for them; so I take it you'll chip in to help them? If not, stop complaining.
"Who will make sure food and drugs are safe?" Who will make sure the computer code that enables the everyday production of food and drugs doesn't suddenly malfunction? Software engineers are completely unregulated.
@BonerMaroner "Who will make sure police and firefighters and soldiers..."
INSURANCE. Why are insurance companies good at breaking contracts? Because they know law courts are so bureaucratic that only the well-off can afford them and still wait years for a resolution. Yet the world's doing quite well without a supreme, coercive arbitrator across its entire surface.
"Water and sewers and electricity..." So the solution to voluntary, free market monopolies is an involuntary, coercive monopoly?
Yeah Well the Fed in come tax is a legal anyways through the 16 amendment!!! There has been people right here in America that have fought it and have one... You guys should no your Constitution, Bill of rights, and most important our Declaration of Independence..
@mikeshanklin Too little amount of people and too late, I think. Based on the stuff that the royals have out, they plan to have the American population dead broke by 2015. Long video. Well worth the time. watch?v=YtM6qtNzLHM
i asked this question before but didn't seem to get an answer, if anyone could explain to me: if we would live in an anarchy, would we have law enforcement? what would stop me from starting a gang of robbers? and what would stop the law enforcement from becoming another government? Thanks!
@ratmrulesyou1 if you have reasonable grounds to believe taxation is theft (i.e. equivalent to theft), then the onus is on you to go away and research how living without stealing could feasibly 'work'; freedomain radio, Rothbard, YouTube: "voluntary society", peace-freedom-prosperity.
To answer your question basically: law enforcement is itself a gang of robbers, and is itself a government. The goal of anarchists is to minimize this situation, not to be apathetic about it.
My taxes are taken out of my paychecks. Doing my taxes usually only results in me getting some of that money back. How would someone like me opt out, when it is taken before I get it??
Sadly, I live in Britain. I like free healthcare. I like to know that I won't starve if I can't find a job. I like to know that Science will always be funded, that education will always carry on going, that a police force will help me if someone tries to rob me. I like to know that if my house is on fire, I will not be asked for money to put it out. I like to know that no matter what, I will not be left to die in the street.
I like to live in a civilized country, and I'll happily pay tax for it
@Freefallfelixrulz First off, you obviously haven't heard of charity. It's how people helped each other before they were forced to cough up cash to help others. And the police won't help you if someone tries to rob you LMAO. They only show up after the fact and most of the time, THEY ARE THE ONES ROBBING YOU! Of course you think gov't is supposed to feed you and take care of you.You live in Europe. Home of the Nanny States. And now America has been infected with the same irresponsible ideas.
@LightningBoltz America, in the words of Oscar Wilde, is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between. Charity is not reliable. Nor is it practical. Have you ever tried raising the tens of thousands of dollars required for a cancer treatment? If you crash your car, will you have to ask for donations before you are treated?
A civilized society can only be judged on how it treats it's poorest members. You would drag the world back into the dark ages.
@Freefallfelixrulz It was reliable enough before welfare. Sure people fell through the cracks but it would be pretty ignorant they still don't and won't with gov't assistance. And we wouldn't need 10's of thousands of dollars for cancer treatment if people weren't so blind to how much of a joke said treatment actually is. Did you know that cannabis kills many cancers in humans? Did you know there is already a documented case of a 2 year old boy with brain tumor cured with hemp oil?
So, your cancer treatment argument doesn't work. And no, you don't raise money and then get treatment. You get treatment and then pay for it. Why is everything else ok to pay after you receive it but for health care you need insurance. Speaking of dragging us backwards. Do you not realize how long socialism has been being attempted, how many times, and how many times it has utterly failed. Your little quote about judging societies is mere opinion.
You don't work for my money, so what in the hell makes you think you have the right to determine where it goes? And you want to talk to me about practicality?? Are you kidding? Socialized programs in themselves are not practical because they depend on infinite growth which is IMPOSSIBLE. Sooner or later it will fail, because it is not fiscally practical. And that leaves you with a dependent population and no way to fill their needs. *sigh* This country used to be about personal responsibility.
The more handouts there are, the more abuse of them there will be. What's more is the fact that you create dependency. I thought we celebrate our independence every year. We celebrate independence while begging to be dependent. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it? And if you think these programs don't promote dependence, I don't know what to tell you. Because, anymore it seems like damn near every person I'm behind in line at the gas station is cashing out with a vision card (food stamps).
This is the type of thing that is going to be much more effective in a concentrated group of people who support each other. If there were 2,000 members of the freestate project doing this in NH for example this would be more effective than 1,000,000 everywhere else because those million are ALONE and can be hurt by the government barely with a whisper.
I've just decided to voluntarily leave this country and live someplace else on this earth besides within the boundaries that are known as the United States of America. I wouldn't doubt that over one million just expatriate by 2015 and tell this ridiculous statist regime to fuck off.
I always said "how could the world elite stop a worldwide mass idea of waking up tomorrow, and suddenly not wanting money. Or things. But just, to live"? Seriously, how can you stop that?
Agreed. Because, how can they stop a movement that involves the majority of America to just .... stop wanting their money. Its not a crime. Its a choice. Good call. Sign me up.
You pay taxes? Doh! How about you don't pay them ever again starting today. Go to your job, if you do that sort of thing. Get a new I9 and write EXEMPT on it. Ding, done.
I'm with you, Mike, but I wonder how many would continue being self sufficient when it gets tough. Remember, many are snuggled deep in the arms of the nanny state.
Maybe stop paying taxes until the demands of the 99% are met...
That the 1% that benefitted so richly from our democratic capitalist system be the ones to give the most back to that system and its people that made them so rich.
That and to cut corporate funding of politician's campaigns. Washington reaks of moneyed interests, and I think most of us want no whiff of anything but what is in the best interest of the public in our elected law makers.
The US government actually requires US citizens living abroad to pay income taxes on money they make in other countries. Yes, money that they legitimately earn in foreign currency and endeavors. Endeavors that use NO USA RESOURCES OR IMPACT THE US ECONOMY WHATSOEVER. The US government is a rogue entity at this point and should be overthrown. Yeah, that's right YouTube police, I said it and I mean it. Come and get me if you can.
@pretorious700 Tax laws act like a fish net. The meshing is as broad and thick as it possibly can be given the circumstances. If you can't slip through the cracks, you will always be guilty of some level of tax evasion. Then all it takes is for some politician to pick on you for being a rowdy libertarian.
@MRSketch09 You make a good point. But if a million people didn't pay taxes one year the symbolic impact would be great. The Federal Reserve and those that run/control it are above the affect of this opt-out movement but the government, corporations and individuals would feel it. I am not American but I do think there is an issue with money and those that control it. In my country (Canada) as well. "Opt"ting out of central bank paper money might get closer to the root of the problem.
@MRSketch09 Neither, i do not have to pay taxes im a human humans do not have to pay taxes Corporations have to pay taxes. Just because everyone else pays taxes does not mean that its right to do so, if you feel good every year that You pay by all means put on a smile but for me sorry but i have not paid and am not going to pay, just like the Rich do not pay taxes neither will i.
@casinohijack LoL, alright. Well I was curious. I know peter schiffs dad went to prison from what I understand for not paying his taxes.. actually most stories I Have read about people not paying taxes, is they get a visit from the IRS or go to jail or something of that nature.
@MRSketch09 Are you scared of Jail? First off there not going to come after you unless they have something to gain. All the people who we have heard of going to jail for taxes were entertainers like movie stars and musicians. There not going to mess with someone who has nothing its going to be a waste of time and energy on there part. If a larger % did not pay taxes then the system would collapse or help it to collapse. People went to jail for not joining the draft.
@brush200400 Well if you want to pay 0 taxes and it be legal then you might want to watch a few videos by the guy who did the Rich dad Poor dad. He has a few videos and interviews on youtube that you can watch where he talks about how things are set up to cater to the rich in this country and that if you want to pay 0 taxes then you might want to do some of the things that he talks about. I hate to say it buy my family tried to teach me the lessons that the poor dad teaches his son.
Force works. If we don't force the politicians and bankers to do what we want them to do, they will force us to do what they want us to do. Might makes right. That;s the law of the jungle. He who has the weapons makes the laws.
@Mufaso1000 It will only get you so far. The thing to do is to Stop doing business with the banks, Stop paying taxes, Stop voting, Stop buying fast food, Stop watching Tv, Stop going to the movies, Stop buying cheap crap from china at places like Walmart, Stop buying guns, Stop putting alarms on everything. The only way to rebuild the world is for the old world to collapse, as long as we are still trying to reap the rewards of the old world we will never receive the rewards of the new world.
@casinohijack : Sounds like what happened in Atlas Shrugged. Without using force on the thugs it will take years to accomplish anything. You can accomplish more with one bullet than you can with 100 protests. I agree with you 100% in principle, but I'm doubtful it can be done in reality. I'm willing to give it a try though.
@Mufaso1000 Think of the camera as your gun. Think of all the police brutality videos how Powerful that is in waking people up.Think of how all those OWS videos that inspired people to protest in there own cities, and the same goes for Egypt and the UK. Be glad you are apart of this movement, i tell my nephews that its going to be people like me and a lot of others who there going to write about in history books in the future. Its a great time to be alive a great time to fight the good fight.
@bryphi77 So just keep on feeding a system of violence on peaceful people... gotcha.
Thanks, but sorry, instead of your approach of continuing statism slavery, I will choose the ethical route. Attack me all you want, I only preach the non-aggression principle.
The point is to not only not pay taxes, but more importantly, to make the movement more mainstream. A facebook group of 1 million voluntaryists might just help that goal. Besides, I am only trying to better myself... thank you very much
This has been tried many times before. The illuminati want a tax revolt. They respond with hyperinflation and tax u that way. If u r dependent on them for currency, they already got you by the balls
@BlindMaphisto Voluntarism puts is about people interacting in a non coercive manner; Libertarianism is a broad term for an ideology about granting individual rights/freedom to a collective.
@GGPvideos The private prison industry has one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington. This would be something they would make sure politicians follow trough on.
How about a REAL "Tea Party"....get 1 million to meet at the Boston Harbor on April 15th and throw their tax returns into the sea.........starve the beast!!!!
just means everyone will need to buy their taxable goods by the end of 2014 and earn less than $18,000 for all of 2015. not a difficult task if you know the right strategies.
I have opted out 20 years ago. I will not work for anything but cash. I will not submit my SSN to any request. I refuse to participate in killing innocent people with my tax dollars for the benefit of israel.
Well you have to have income to pay tax, so 1M is vey easy , That will happen all by it self. I should think 20 M is a better number. The tax money goes to war and police anyway.
Where does the notion of "1 Million+" come from?
Obviously this is just a handful of immature, smoke blowers who desperately want to feel like they are part of something larger than their own delusion.

2015 , dude the SHTF will happen way before 2015 ...why not 6 months ..
3 years? doesn't make any sense ...
DOCSAFETUBE 3 months ago
@DOCSAFETUBE it was supposed to happen a lot of times.
restlesspride666 3 months ago
why not start in 2011.After OWS is over that would be plan B,you hurt them in the pocket book like they do to you,and that is file 99on w-4.

LOL... I used to think you were a real dude, but now it is plain to see you are a fucking joke.
Good luck with your nonsense... after you get 1,000,000 how to you ensure that they dont pay taxes?
People like you are part of the problem... just another money dependent profiteer that dont want to change his own lifestyle... just everyone elses.
bryphi77 3 months ago
@bryphi77 So just keep on feeding a system of violence on peaceful people... gotcha.
Thanks, but sorry, instead of your approach of continuing statism slavery, I will choose the ethical route. Attack me all you want, I only preach the non-aggression principle.
The point is to not only not pay taxes, but more importantly, to make the movement more mainstream. A facebook group of 1 million voluntaryists might just help that goal. Besides, I am only trying to better myself... thank you very much

@mikeshanklin oops, meant always, not only.

This has been tried many times before. The illuminati want a tax revolt. They respond with hyperinflation and tax u that way. If u r dependent on them for currency, they already got you by the balls

What's the difference between voluntarism and libertarianism? And how do you opt out of paying taxes without opting in to a prison?
BlindMaphisto 3 months ago
@BlindMaphisto Voluntarism puts is about people interacting in a non coercive manner; Libertarianism is a broad term for an ideology about granting individual rights/freedom to a collective.

@BlindMaphisto "And how do you opt out of paying taxes without opting in to a prison?"
~Get as many people as you can to do it with you... they can't arrest 10 million of us that easily.
mikeshanklin 3 months ago
@mikeshanklin Considering the boom in for profit prisons I think they would happily round us all up even if it took two years.
BlindMaphisto 3 months ago
@BlindMaphisto The Government isn't the one making shit tons off of private prisons.
GGPvideos 3 months ago

I refuse to participate in killing innocent people with my tax dollars for the benefit of israel.
slonamu 3 months ago 4
i already opted out the day obama was nominated by the dnc!
BeantownJim 3 months ago
Well you have to have income to pay tax, so 1M is vey easy , That will happen all by it self. I should think 20 M is a better number. The tax money goes to war and police anyway.

only a million? alot more 'opting' out now :)
