My point is at the BSF you have altitude and temperature to deal with. This was one of many cars I was driving. The Porsche GT2 only did 168mph and the C6 Vette did 161mph.

Like the comment said, it has nothing to do with the amount of time. He's on salt flats. There's not much traction on the loose salt. It's not about the time it takes to get there, it's just about the top number.

As I said you have to remember this is in Utah on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The Alt is over 6000ft the temp is over 100 degrees. It makes your engine struggle.
