  • Impressive!! flat 12s and high11s with only a 62mm turbo on a stock 'vert GT, it would've been a couple tenths faster if it was a coupe, 11.7s IMO, it just shows what those 4.6 2Vs are capable of.

  • @bttawfiq The car with more tuning and boost ran 11.3s on the stock engine. Check out my other videos :)

  • Nice little ole 2v 4.6!!! This is slayerripkdc from stangnet :) I love how you are shifting so easily and not beating on the car at all and still hitting high 11's at 121 mph!!! Car is basicly stock with a 62mm turbo...

  • @WallyKillaGT Thanks! At the time it was my DD, and with a stock trans I did not want to push my luck.

  • Nice driven man!! sweet car

  • 0:58 is your car and those tires look more like a 275. Maybe I'm wrong but they look a bit bubbly for a 245. I'm looking to change my (rear) tires here pretty soon and was considering going to 275's... seems many do it often with zero issues but is that what your running? I'm just curious....

  • @DJSlurp1200 they are 245, still have them on the car. I let some air out of the tire so that maybe why they look alittle wider.

  • @tank1538 Ya know that actually makes ALOT of sense and I didn't even initially think of that or consider it at all.. but maybe because it just made them look alot wider? what PSI do you run your rear tires at then and what tires? I'm in the need of replacing my rear tires and would appreciate any advice/suggestions. Traction was a bit of an issue with the coopers that were on my stang when I bought it. can't complain about the wet weather characteristics but they just sucked on dry. lol

  • Man thats SOLID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peicing together a kit for my 03 GT now, just curious what gears your running?

  • @1extremeking Thanks man, at the time I was running stock gears 3.27s, now I have upgraded to 3.55s w/ built rear end.

  • The guy in that lightning tried to give it a little too much on the foot brake before taking off. Well done, especially launching on the street tires. I'd say the dead clutch probably helped you to moderate the launch.

  • what strip in ole cacky lacky is this? building the same thing bud

  • and its a heavy ass vert.....awesome. what kit are you running?

  • @meifert2 Custom Built by my brother and I :)

  • @meifert2 99-04 verts actually aren't all that heavier.. lol... their only about 150lb's heavier than the coupes... so truthfully the weight difference is that of a small-midsize adult.... not much! and the weight is right where you need it anyways in the rear!

  • hell yeah this is exactly what im trying to do single turbo but i wanna upgrade from a 62mm turbo to maybe a 65mm or 76mm. theres always room for more hp just in case.

  • annnnd it's a 'vert!! well done

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • What brand turbo are you running ? I have a 01 GT with a rebuilt 4R70W auto with a shift kit , BBK cold air intake, Airaid Throttle Body Spacer , and flowmasters. I need to decide on either a super charger or a turbo charger. I like your results and need some advice. Great video !!!

  • yeah I am curious... how much boost are you running... and damn.... they must do some amazing track prep wherever this is, 'cause I was slippin n slidding almost to the 1/8thon my street tires... n ur pullin 1.7's on skinny ass street tires... lol good job man... PS... I got a turbo stang for ya :-P ran 11.4 last year... this year I'm gonna run her a lil harder n pull 11.0's unless I decide to build the motor... then I'm hoping for low 10's high 9's

  • @probercr93 On this video I was running 9lbs, but it was a hot day and having a dead clutch didnt help. Best time in the car was with 11lbs, same street tires, dead clutch and stock gears ran a 11.6@121 w/ a 1.89 60ft. Got the boost set to 14lbs w/ 110 in tank and a new stage 3+, and street tires. I should be running low 11s high 10s on a stock 2v engine.

  • @tank1538 that's really not bad at all... especially for a stock 2v... did I read somewhere this thing has like 140,000 miles too?

  • hollyy shit theres some nice cars there

  • 10 sec longer burnout would've been good for another .075 sec off that 60'

  • @xshakenbake16 I was cutting 1.7-1.8 60ft on street tires.

  • auto swap time! If your running stock gears, keep em'.

  • dude mine did run 11.9 with gt40p heads and cam thats was it. now im puting afr heads and boreding and stroking to 331 with turbo. How much boost are you running?

  • dude i live right down the road from the fayetteville speedway. I bet u i got something for your 4.6. I got a 94 5.0 mustang. Just give me about a year and i will race you.

  • @shitera1 Better get a ton of work done to get that bad boy running 11.6s b/c thats what I just went running with a dead clutch. should be running low 11s with a clutch and gears.

  • Nice runs man. What are the next mods for you?

  • @MaddCow99 Looking at getting gears
