This is not armed robbery nor theft. I have confidence that the pot was properly classified. The problem I have with your circle's approach to activism is that in many instances you protest cases where police do not trample over individual rights/freedoms but enforce laws passed by either the state or federal legislative branches. There are many videos of the RidleyReport series where I agree with the libertarian platform as expressed by you. This is not one of those videos.
@GWstudent1 and others.. With all due respect, many feel that the state and federal laws criminalizing marijuana possession and consumption are in fact unconstitutional and thus an infraction of their constitutional rights, hence any law deemed unconstitutional is null and void, and the enforcement of such laws is a criminal offense. This argument is typically substantiated by the 5th amendment rights and the common law standing claim elements that tantamount to a criminal offense.
@HotblackDesiat042 Enforcement of law is not a criminal offense simply because many people feel those laws are unconstitutional. Many people feel various laws are unconstitutional but that doesn't mean anything. The law must be upheld unless or until it is repealed or presented to and debated before the court and found unjust as a result. Personal opinions cannot be sufficient. Can you imagine the civil unrest that would come about as a result of such a system? It's simply a ridiculous notion.
@seanredsky Yeah, I can imagine. We live in it now. Under what other criteria do people vote for their leaders besides personal opinion? While not precisely the same it is significantly similar. However, I agree with your first sentence, with the caveat that I disagree when Enforcement directly violates your Constitutional Rights.
@seanredsky Please note that I was only trying explain why they titled the video clip the way they did. Sure it's a stretch, IMO
But...
“Many people feel various laws are unconstitutional [or unjust] but that doesn't mean anything.”
"Personal opinions cannot be sufficient. Can you imagine civil unrest that would... result of such a system?”
I’m sure King George III would’ve agreed with you. Our nation was founded through civil unrest. Was the US declaration of independence a ridiculous notion?
@GWstudent1 (cont.) To elaborate, the latter portion of the 5th amendment states "...[No person shall] be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation." And Common Law requires that there must be a resulting injured party for a crime to exist. Lastly, according to Article VI of the Constitution, the Constitution/Bill of Rights is supreme Law of the Land and cannot be superseded by a contrary law.
@HotblackDesiat042 All laws originate with common law, however common law itself is not recognized in any form in the State of New Hampshire. Statutes enacted by the vote of the legislature are the only form of law which is recognized on the state level.
While I’m not a lawyer, I’m pretty sure common law is the precedent, as it’s often referred to as ”precedent”. Most all criminal statutes are codifications of pre-existing common laws, and are quite often succinct, leaving the unstated defining terms of the law to be analogized by the courts from the pre-existing common law, this system being referred to as jurisprudence. Thus, it is common law that generally defines what a statute or regulatory law means.
Exactly, the Common law gives the background, but if there is any conflict between the two, the statute/written law 'wins'. Common law does not override the written law.
(...Are you spending a year dead for tax purposes?)
@RetSquid Yes, you're right, as long as there is no conflict to the meaning/interpretation of the law by the parties involved. But in their reasoning behind the video title, I think they're trying to emphasize upon the "injured party" principle common in most criminal cases. Because there is no injured party due to on possessing or consumption of marijuana, which they believe is their constitutional right. And to have it confiscated, would be theft of property, making them an injured party.
i am promarijuana....my wife has her medical card, i do not cause i get drug tested for my job....but i feel this is a bit of a strech...he was doing something illegal so to call it armed robbery and kidnapping is wrong....let the bd comments commence
ps...just for the record i love your open carry videos and hate the police think they need to have payback for being picked on in hghschool
And for the record, I would like to see marijuana made legal, but I don't want assholes like this "helping" the cause. I hope he gets the maximum sentence.
@OneEyedJack1970 the eco in your skull make your finger type nonsense! It is like to say you want your freedom but you dont want to make eny effort to be free. You dont really make sense to me!! if you dont believe in something, and you dont put yourself in to action to get that something you have no right at all to have it. Maybe one day pot will be legalazied in your country, mmmmmhh dont think so!!!, and you will be able to enjoy it on somebody else head. good luck!!!
@1972Yaris I prefer voting for officials who support my cause -- not advocating for criminals who draw negative attention to it. But to these borderline personality types, any sort of attention is good attention.
@OneEyedJack1970 Gandhi was the leader of the indipendence movment for India, was he a criminal? Were is actions considered negative? Can you consider him a man with borderline personality?I understand that the 2 causes are very different and I am apologize to Mr.Gandhi(R.I.P).But I just want to make a point here. Your cause come after the party's cause or the government's cause, this is what I see now everywhere.I am not an anarchist dont get me wrong but I am not blind,Im just a critical thinker
@1972Yaris "Gandhi was the leader of the indipendence movment for India, was he a criminal? Were is actions considered negative? Can you consider him a man with borderline personality?"
Uh... let's see.
Gandhi: Do what I want, or I'll hurt myself.
Yeah, I think I could, actually. That's a classic symptom.
@trentmanslow Yeah unfortunatley that does not do much as far as change goes, then again the state house/minarchists arent doing good change either in my opinion, however civil disobedience has caused change as far as 420 protests went, good for them, but yeah this is kinda worthless
@trentmanslow Everybody knows you can get arrested for breaking the law. He'll probably try to sue the cops now. Of course, he'll lose, but his real goal of clogging up the court system with frivolous cases will have succeeded.
@chorizo1337 They think they can sue the government for it. They even try to file judgements that they themselves have rendered, as if they have the authority to do such a thing.
@OneEyedJack1970 yeah I dont feel bad for most of these activists at all, what an emberassment, they purposely provoke most of these situations, not counting having pot in their house or growing it.
Possession of marijuana in NH is ILLEGAL. If this IDIOT was DUMB enough to do what he did, WHY would you call it "kidnapping"? Are you for real? So now, I guess this will be on his record. Good luck getting a decent job unless you troublemaking assholes, believe people don't have to work, I guess it's okay. It AMAZES me at your STUPIDITY. There are right and wrong ways to do things. I've yet to see you NUT cases do anything the right way. PLEASE LEAVE THE COUNTRY.
sooooo what exactly do freestaters do ? all i see is grouping up holding half ass signs and getting arrested for pot ? hmmmm wow, quite the freedom fighters you are.
@ViperProductionsFilm Seizing dissidents in Nazi Germany and The Soviet Union was "legal", correct? Did that make it just? Is it just to arrest/incarcerate individuals for posessing a live plant? "Just following orders I guess...
"Always a good idea not to answer when police ask a question."
WRONG! Silence is acquiescence and puts you in dishonor. ALWAYS answer a police question WITH a question, which puts the ball back in their court. Then you're not arguing and you stay in honor.
@613maccabee Bush and Obama have effectively dismantled the bill of rights, (through the patriot act) and federalized the national guard, meaning that the states have no way to defend the right to govern themselves...the real battle is we the people vs. the U.S. government
@solarcookerguide Correct! And here is the real illusion. The united states of America (note lower case) was incorporated in 1868/71 [ (Executive Order 12803) do not personate one of the creditors or
share holders or you will go to Prison.18 U.S.C. 914 ]. The corporate U.S. declared *bankruptcy a *second time, whereby the *Secretary of Treasury was appointed "Receiver" for the bankrupt
U.S. in *Reorganization Plan No. 26, Title 5 USC 903, Public Law 94-564, "Legislative History," page 5967).
it doesn't matter if it's a plant or not. it's fuckin illegal. having it in your hand is called possession of a controlled substance. here's something to think about... anthrax, it's an organic substance, do you think it should be legal too? get a brain dumbasses.
The shitty thing is...Pigs can do this and get away with it. What if masturbation was illegal in NH and you walked in on this lowlife pig jerking his pud while he was taking a shit, would it be possible to make a Citizens Arrest? He WOULD be breaking the law. It goes back to what your parents said...." do as I say, not as I do". The Government is chocked full of hypocites. Life Liberty and the persuit of happiness no longer exists America. It does, but only if someone doesn't see you do it.
Alot of you people say all cops are bad and that they should all be killed off or whatever. If thats how you feel then you have no right to call them if you or someone in your family gets raped or murdered. I know, theres some "macho" guys out there that will say " I'll take care of them myself." Well, what if you never seen the attacker and don't know who it is?Or your just outnumbered. Are you not going to call the police?
@1108chuck Do you think this "Gang of Men" you created in this scenario are going to wait around for the police? Did someone guarantee your life and safety at some point, did they give you a contract? Seriously, the problem is not a "Peace Officer" or "cop", it is the sustained level concerning abuse of power and corruption that makes the officer you call as dangerous as the criminal your facing. Law Enforcement are being trained to confront citizens instead of assissting them.
@bigcrabrob I never implied anyone would wait around for the cops. You wrote a whole "book" to me and got it wrong from the first sentence. People still call police even after the criminal has run away. I was simply saying not ALL cops are bad. People are just stereotyping when it comes to police. I've had my own run ins with police and never once was I treated abusively. They even let me ride up front once with no cuffs on when I was arrested.
@1108chuck Fair enough, I did write at length. I agree that not ALL cop's are bad, but any cop who see's abuse or corruption and keep's quite about it is equally as bad as ALL the cop's that do abuse the citizenry. Look, football is a rough game with 6'7" 340 pound men who are paid millions of $ to knock the brains out of each other. Even in a game designed for roughness, they have something called Unneccessary Roughness. How much more should a public servant be held to a similar standard?
@1108chuck The argument is not about whether this cop is good, or this cop is bad, but about a man's rights according to the U.S. Constitution. If a man (Good or Bad) does a bad thing, and it is covered up and praised as the right thing, then there is a Precedent set and that becomes the next level of normalcy. Every submission to the criminal normalcy of law enforcement encourages further acts of abuse. Eventually it is too late to reverse such abuse, and that is where our country is headed
@1108chuck Law enforcement is necessary, however their role is as a servant of the public, not master's of the masses. I will not take abuse from a police officer, I would rather take the taser and go to court, and see him or her pay the price of there criminal activity. One day it wont just be "dont talk back to me boy" or "You wanna go to jail?" It will be "Step outside while we "talk" with your wife" and you will listen to them fuck her untill they are content. Think I am wrong?
@1108chuck Germany, Russia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Italy, France, Argentina, Britain, and the list goes on, and on, and on. All of these nations have suffered the sting of a Police State, yet none of them started as one. How novel that something so dangerous and insideous evolves from the inside, we believe that we are all Americans with the same values; this is not the case. Why do we have monopoly law's, anti-trust law's, why do we have law's at all. Why did we desire a constitution?
@1108chuck The reason we have any of the above mentioned items and law's is because of experience. Our founding father's and the American's wished to be free men, men who did not bow down to King's and Lord's, or there henchmen for that matter. We have a Constitution to Insure the proper treatment of all citizen's and above all, protection of our right's. In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution. T.J.
Did you know the gov is working to limit the right you have to take video in public. That you will need written permission of all parties in the video.
What we need to do is write, call, email, show up at any political town hall and ask for laws that allow us to continue to record in public with out permission that includes the cops, mayor, city councilors.
you see, rule of law requires that one be treated exactly as another and being that government is a fiction created as a separate being it has the same obligations and duties as any other living breathing human being, as such when this government created fiction creates a crime it must make repairs to those crimes to its victim just the same as any other individual. Check thier law books,, they don't hold themselves accountable. they are indeed crimiinals under thier law and international law
Cops are state-sponsored violent criminals with badges, uniforms guns and equipment. They are criminals and should be treated like criminals. I breathe a sigh of relief when one of those scum are justly offed!
And yes if the cops are giving your local residents problems and threatening not only them but their families, then assemble with guns, disarm the cops and put them under citizen's arrest. Time to take the blue pill and unplug yourself from the ZOG matrix!
If the cops are giving your local residents problems, then assemble with guns.
It is our right to assemble and bear arms, and if there are other bullies with guns, then you've got to fight back. People keep saying "things will change" butt the politicians don't do anything, and its like Americans are sitting on their asses.
People need to come out of their dream world, realize that no one is going to take care of them but themselves. The police can't function if citizens don't cooperate.
at first, I thought you may have some ideas worth considering, bu then i saw this garbage. way to use a sensational and completely false title. seeing how calm and coordinated this event was already, do you think he would call out the "CSI guys" to come out and process a little bit of weed? come on, you are smarter than that Mr. Propaganda
it is i believe a false notion that if there were an adherance to the constitution that a constitutional fiction by men would be any different. the same corrupted men would be committing thier crimes against humanity. people could unite and defund this current regieme and it would colaspe in short time. thier fiction is only in the mind of the mindless, people wising up eleminates thier rot on society. The biggest crock is this notion by the bar association and judiciary of thier devine rule.
you are correct, the fact of the matter there are only two capabilities under the physical world. attorneys have tried to create some other divinity type realm in which they have devine authority not to be questioned and control over man. theonly two realities are the actual living human being or a fiction. No other exist. Thier Supreme court hit the nail on the head at the time they declared no man may have controld over another without thier permission. Voting is that permission.
IMPRISONMENT OF PERSONS WITH THE INABILITY TO PAY A FINE ISUNLAWFUL BY SUPREME COURT RULING AS IT APPLIES PRIVILEGE TO THOSE WHO ARE OF MEANS OVER THOSE LESS FORTUNATE. tHE EXSCAPE CLAUSE SHOULD BE USED TO YOUR ADVANTAGE AGAINST THIS CORRUPTION, THEY CANNOT ALSO CONVERT IT TO COMMUNITY SERVICE, IF YOU PERSERVE YOU WILL DEFEAT CERTAINLY THEIR OVATIONS TO THIER JUDGE AS IT WAS DONE YEARS AGO IN LOUISIANA WHEN IT FINALLY OVERWHELMED THE COURT
@FromanMD it is as current. you certainly must realize that ther is constitutional law, international law, common law, statuatory law, precedent law, public policy law, state constitutional law, commercial law, and probably some I am forgetting for the moment, If you believe though you will go into any entry level law court and expect them to admit that you have constitutional guarantees they must uphold you are mistakken. Supreme court has maintained that freedom must be fought for.
@chris532008; We are not under Constitutional Law. The United States was incorporated in 1871. We now have corporations masquerading as governments, at federal, state and local levels. Judges, Police, Mayors, Councilmen are all employees of a corporation, their job is to make a profit. We are simply tax slaves to corporations. Chattel Slavery could only produce about 50% profit, they had to feed, cloth, house and provide shelter. Tax Slaves "serfs" a more productive, the productive pay the most.
wow, I dont think I have seen a more dumbed-down, ineffective approach to the legalization issue. what good did that do? dumbass! Cops have to arrest the guy, so what?! (although, here in Canada, they tend to just take it away and dispose of it, usually by flushing it down a toilet in front of you, no arrest).
Ridley your officially the stupidest person on this planet! are you kidding me armed robbery??? HE BROKE THE LAW THEY TOOK THE ILLEGAL STUFF HE HAD AND THATS THAT!
Hell Yea! Got my attention. I have a cause on facebook called stop the war on drugs but only 10 people joined. The War on Drugs, so stupid. The CIA brings it here (Well, not Pot) but ya know.Pots not a drug anyway.
I don't understand lol, you put a video on YouTube of some douche showing a cop he's got weed. The cop duly arrests him.
What kind of response did you want? Asking for it to be legalised is stupid.. If u use it (I don't) surely you don't want it government controlled where it'll be packaged AND TAXED!!
@fireamusmus Compare that to the taxes that we all pay whether we smoke it or not, to pay for the law enforcement manpower and housing of marijuana offenders, it really isn't a big deal if the government taxed it. It's better than throwing you in jail for doing something that doesn't hurt anyone. In a free society, my rights end where yours begin. Pot, cocaine, arsenic, poison ivy, whatever the hell I want to smoke, it isn't going to do you any harm. No victim, no crime.
@punkeratheart You make a fair point but that said you could also take into account those who use it, get addicted, can't afford it then steal to fund thier habit. Then theres the cost of those who don't work (most who abuse drugs don't, you might) and the benefits the government pays for that.
@fireamusmus If drugs were legal and fda regulated (like alcohol) it wouldn't be such an issue. When heroin was invented (bayer, 1898) it was sold OTC for cheap, and no one had to steal to get it. Prohibition creates the black market, prices soar, and you have a whole new culture around a drug. Besides, if I steal to feed myself, I go to jail. If I steal because I like shiny objects, off to jail I go. I steal to buy booze, forward my mail to the county jail. But just taking drugs hurts only me.
@punkeratheart Yeah thats true, you have to take into account other factors though (not necessarily marajuana/pot/weed whatever) but take heroin... mainly produced in Afghanistan profits of which fund terrorism which is used to blow us all up.... thats one example.
@fireamusmus That is an example of why it should be legal. Any legal drug (like heroin was when BAYER first introduced it) would be manufactured here and sold at the drug store, or in liquor stores. That would take business away from the Aghan cartels, just like the end of prohibition killed the bootlegging industry. Just like the legalization of cocaine would bankrupt the columbian cartel and the CIA.
@fireamusmus legalize your heroin and now you can grow your opium in country to make your heroine and keep all the profits in country... seriously this is the worst argument ever used for the drug war. You should be ashamed to not think before you speak. (yes I know you've received many comments about how you're wrong, this is to reinforce the point as to how easy it is to see)
@fuckqnamenotavail drop dead you fucking bandwagon jumping moron. If you read what I said again you will understand that I made the point that drug (mainly heroin) production funds terrorism in Afghanistan which is true. How is it the worst arguement you ever heard!?!?! You my little American fuck, are an idiot!
@fireamusmus cause and effect, you can't make it in the states for example.... so the afghanis go ahead and make it.
You do understand that heroine, coke and the like while not very friendly to a person's health are always going to be in demand to a certain group. The fact the government doesn't try and tax the drug to pay for its rehab is beyond me. And by not taking advantage of these die hard consumers our enemies typically do. You rly need to look before you leap :/
This is just plain stupid. You openly break the law and was arrested for it. Why don't you step it up a notch next time, go in front of a bunch of cops and shoot someone. Same difference
please be more creative than having a kid sacrifice future employment opportunities. In the end you made some noise for each other and made the people that protect your safety annoyed for a few minutes - now what?
while its fun to bitch about authority figures, they don't make the laws and they shouldn't be the focus of your protests for doing an important, difficult and dangerous job
want to do something? get involved with state legislators and register to vote
There is a difference between anti-government and anti-corrupt government. What these guys understand that maybe you do not, yet, is you have Unalienable Rights that a re protected by the Constitution (specifically amendment IX) The purpose of government is to protect your Rights...Period. Read The Declaration.
'''endowed...with certain unalienable Rights...That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men" You do not have to ask permission to exercise a Right.
@ny1t But my question is where in the Constitution, specifically what Article allows you to walk around with a Marijuana plant? It's an illegal substance and the Officer who took it was in the right. It's not an armed robbery or a kidnapping. This is why I think (even though you don't admit it) you're Anti-Cop.
No disrespect intended, but it seems you have it backwards. The Constitution a cage around the government. The People wrote it to limit the power of government.
You do not have to ask for Rights. You do not need the governments permission. Your Rights cannot infringe on another. You are an adult, but if you ask the government for permission, you are their child and that i s how they will treat you.
Please look into unalienable rights. Try the book "The 5000 Years Leap"
this parsing of the constitution with cops is all intellectual masturbation.
focusing your anger on the authority figure (cops) is childish. The problem is the law. Go to the next step, organize a political movement and talk to the people that can change the law is the only way things will change. You show them you can bring voters and you might get their attention. Hell, you may find out the cops don't like the law either but ignoring your provocation would mean losing their livelihood
@procussionist While I agree with you that there is something to be said for obeying the letter of the law, I think that there is also something to be said for changing some of the laws on the books. I don't advocate drug use, but I think that we should take a hands-off approach by informing people that they can do what they like as long as they don't expect us to bail them out if they get themselves into trouble as a result of their actions.
If the cops didn't arrest him then they would be breaking the law... If/When the laws are changed, and pot is made legal, then the cops wouldn't/couldn't arrest him.
@ny1t What are you talking about? He was knowingly in possession of an illegal substance. He wanted to be arrested he was arrested... I'm sure by this time he has paid his fine or done his time... Case closed. The police did their job. Now he can continue his travels.... BTW " Right to Travel" is not in the US Constitution.
You should reread Amendment IX and ask your self what it is referring to."All" Rights are "protected" there. The Declaration tells you (We hold These Truths...) Rights are inalienable and come from your creator. And that we create a government to protect these Rights. Not to abuse them.
These guy are asking themselves do they have a Right to have a pot plant. Does it violate the Rights of another person? If not where does the government get the authority to criminalize it?
Kidnapping and armed robbery? Wow I hate how u guys are overly dramatic if y'all hate the cops in Keene feel free to move and weed is illeagal for a reason .
hahahahaha! Yup you know it all. You are one naive son of a bitch. Just watch the fucking video, cops, judges, politicians DON'T obey the law of the land. What makes you think you can get them to?!
all you have to do is look young man. the case files and transcripts are on the record. Please do not get mad just because you do not understand. you were not meant to understand. There are no silver bullets but there are lawful ways to secure your identity and become a freeman on the land created by God of Blood Flesh and Bone. you have the right to claim common law jurisdiction but that is only the start. you must have ALL your ducks in a row
again how stupid are you? Guns are indeed what is considered the last line of defense and is indeed a defense against tyranny. But before using your last line of defense you must exhaust all other means at your disposal. This includes what is known as Notice of Understanding and Intent and a Claim of Rights. If executed to perfection, under their own laws you can defend your right to exist as a Freeman of Flesh and Blood standing on dry land with all rights stated in the NOU
@theadmiralburns Your an idiot, you show up downtown with a little weed and think your doing something rocking the boat! This is the "live free or die" state for a reason, and it has nothing to do with pukes like you.
Every small town around Keene is filled with people who would eat you. dirt roads you would never want to go down.
you play on main street with your homegrown but its us .....on the outskirts that make New Hampshire
So cool. A staged arrest with cameras and lots of supporters. Brilliant. I love this stuff. Excellent. I am so happy there are some clever human beings sharing this planet with me. Freedom lovers. Yeehaaaaa!!!!!
WHY KEENE...You won't get anywhere protesting there. What some inbreed will look at them and say...Gee Whiz some felller is gettin a bit of hot water over yonder. Musta been a streaker.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
this is not kidnapping, nor is it arresting...this is a person being arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and the seizure of his controlled substance. it is fine what the cop did, he doesnt have to bag it or preserve evidence until his suspect is under control...
I take it you're not familiar with the Freeman On The Land mentality. No problem. Look up Rob Mernard. I'm just learning about it so I'm doing my research on paper and by watching what's going on in the videos. So far what I see is a bunch of criminal thugs harassing and falsely imprisoning declared sovereigns.
The mentality is accurate from what I can tell. The problem is, these thugs are ignorant to the fact. Even the judges are ignorant to the fact.
When 750,000 people a year are arrested every year for marijuana, when America, home of the free and land of the brave becomes the world's largest jailer, when we keep terminally ill patients from using one of the safest, most effective drugs known to mankind, then it ceases being a legitimate arrest and becomes enforcement of unconstitutional laws to prop up a tyrannical regime.
When harmless people are raped, beaten and killed in overcrowded jail cells because they are in there for possessing a drug FAR less harmful than what the state of NH itself sells, when murderers, rapists and hardened criminals are released to make way for people who were caught with cannabis, we have to say "no - no more" - anything less would be immoral and slavish.
@jgmaynard its all about the police showing that they are in control and the people have no power to stop them, the old saying was I WILL SUE YOU FOR FALSE ARREST but no one does and the police keep on arresting everyone with no fear of a lawsuit, that is the power the police have over us.if people would start suing the police every time they are falsely arrested then it might stop but no ones does.
When we spend $7.7 billion dollars a year in enforcement costs for cannabis nationwide while our families are losing their homes because of excessive taxes, we need to demand accountability and restitution.
The police, when they prevent people from harming one other, are a brave and powerful force. But when that power is perverted, and used to take more money away from our children to further aggrandize the para-militarization of the local police forces, then it is time to take that power back.
There are some orders which are so inhumane, so torturous and degrading to a free society that ALL people, especially those charged with enforcing the laws, MUST say "no" and refuse to cooperate, or it is nothing short of a crime against humanity.
We need to end this prohibition, return to the free and just society that our founding fathers intended and to right the wrongs that have been committed against ourselves, our families and our children.
It's funny how the freestaters call it armed robbery and kidnapping, hahaha. I don't see the armed robbery nor the kidnapping, please look up the defintion for armed robbery and kidnapping before making yourself look like an idiot! In addition, they write "arrested for holding a plant", don't forget to add the word "Marijuana" before plant. A legitimate arrest! All these freestaters are doing is making the citizens of NH look like idiots! Freestaters, please leave NH. Thank you.
Legitimate? The UN peace keeping forces(not to mention many other military forces) can rape women legitimately and/or get away with it. That doesn't make it anything other than rape.
Who is talking about rape? Who is talking about the UN? Who is talking about the military? Yes, we are talking about a legitimate arrest made by the Keene, NH PD, and "Yes" having marijuana in the state of NH is "ILLEGAL", so yes it was a "LEGITIMATE" arrest. You can disagree all you want, but if you FREE STATER'S have a problem with that then why don't you guys go and stand in front of the state LEGISLATURE and do all these stupid demonstrations that you guys do, plain and simple!
Amazing. Not only you do you sensationalize a simple arrest, but you add "hearsay" into your commentary (the cop put the weed into his pocket.. OF COURSE HE DID. There were 40 pissed off potheads there. He just wanted to get the arrest done and over with)
Where is the armed robbery and kidnapping?!? A police officer effected an arrest on a person who broke the law!!! You dumbasses need to get you heads out of your asses and get a life. Work to change the laws or shut the fuck up!!! You bitch and complain about the laws, but are only willing to "not cooperate" with law enforcement and not do anything else. You are a bunch of pussies!
Right, people who just pull a lever for an R or D, hoping for change that will never come, are the brave ones, while people who are willing to stand up and be arrested for what they believe in are the pussies.
Just like Rosa Parks, or Gandhi, what cowards they were.
Psychologically cops are pussies. This is why these sociopath types gravitate towards jobs that put them in positions of authority and/or where they get to carry a weapon. What these cops don't realize is that their own children (God help us) are going to be growing up in the police state that are helping to create and enforce. If not for pot smokers the police would have to actually work for their living confronting real criminals such as rapists and murderers. We can't have that now can we?
Well its hard to stop rapists and murderers since the city I work in hasent had a murder in 4 years and no one has reported a rape in a year and a half. But the city I work has a bad drug problem. Which many of the people started off using pot and ended up on herion and rock cocaine. That is why you enforce the law. Oh about being a pussy I like to see you do our job for one night. I like how he said arrested for driving without a license. Is it OK to drive without one. You guys are so mature.
I'd do my best to avoid it. I wish you allowed competition, so I could choose a more efficient alternative protection agency, which did not violate my moral beliefs, but unfortunately if I don't fund your little monopoly, you take my house away. Nice business you've got there. "Protection" just like Al Capone.
Well, I, and many others, believe that violence is only justly used in self defense, or defense of innocents.
Apparently you have no such moral code, but just do whatever the law tells you to. You're apparently happy to violently intervene in other people's private business, even if they clearly do not harm others. I wonder, if the law said to throw all jews in boxcars, if you would do that too, as most German cops did.
I wouldn't do your job -- I don't like assaulting innocent people.

The US Constitution no longer applies when a subject's behavior requires forceful intervention.
Physical or verbal resistance to any enforcement measure used against you will result in harmful repercussions prior to your arrest and imprisonment.
Failure to comply, nullifies the rights of the perp and allows any means of physical force, even at risk of death, to be used against you.
It's not a matter of innocence, you either obey or you'll be sorry, we will teach you a lesson you'll never forget.

GWstudent1 6 months ago
@GWstudent1 and others.. With all due respect, many feel that the state and federal laws criminalizing marijuana possession and consumption are in fact unconstitutional and thus an infraction of their constitutional rights, hence any law deemed unconstitutional is null and void, and the enforcement of such laws is a criminal offense. This argument is typically substantiated by the 5th amendment rights and the common law standing claim elements that tantamount to a criminal offense.
HotblackDesiat042 6 months ago
@HotblackDesiat042 Enforcement of law is not a criminal offense simply because many people feel those laws are unconstitutional. Many people feel various laws are unconstitutional but that doesn't mean anything. The law must be upheld unless or until it is repealed or presented to and debated before the court and found unjust as a result. Personal opinions cannot be sufficient. Can you imagine the civil unrest that would come about as a result of such a system? It's simply a ridiculous notion.
seanredsky 5 months ago
@seanredsky Yeah, I can imagine. We live in it now. Under what other criteria do people vote for their leaders besides personal opinion? While not precisely the same it is significantly similar. However, I agree with your first sentence, with the caveat that I disagree when Enforcement directly violates your Constitutional Rights.
RooksGambit 5 months ago
@seanredsky Please note that I was only trying explain why they titled the video clip the way they did. Sure it's a stretch, IMO
But...
“Many people feel various laws are unconstitutional [or unjust] but that doesn't mean anything.”
"Personal opinions cannot be sufficient. Can you imagine civil unrest that would... result of such a system?”
I’m sure King George III would’ve agreed with you. Our nation was founded through civil unrest. Was the US declaration of independence a ridiculous notion?
HotblackDesiat042 4 months ago
@seanredsky yep, it was called The American Revolution...
SlimTheMan29 2 weeks ago

Statutes enacted by the vote of the legislature are the only form of law which is recognized on the state level.
seanredsky 5 months ago
@HotblackDesiat042
Statutory law take prececence over any common law.
RetSquid 5 months ago
@RetSquid
HotblackDesiat042 4 months ago
@HotblackDesiat042
Exactly, the Common law gives the background, but if there is any conflict between the two, the statute/written law 'wins'. Common law does not override the written law.
(...Are you spending a year dead for tax purposes?)
RetSquid 4 months ago
@RetSquid Yes, you're right, as long as there is no conflict to the meaning/interpretation of the law by the parties involved. But in their reasoning behind the video title, I think they're trying to emphasize upon the "injured party" principle common in most criminal cases. Because there is no injured party due to on possessing or consumption of marijuana, which they believe is their constitutional right. And to have it confiscated, would be theft of property, making them an injured party.

Alot of you people say all cops are bad and that they should all be killed off or whatever. I know, theres some "macho" guys out there that will say " I'll take care of them myself." Well, what if you never seen the attacker and don't know who it is?Or your just outnumbered. Are you not going to call the police?
1108chuck 1 year ago
@1108chuck Do you think this "Gang of Men" you created in this scenario are going to wait around for the police? Did someone guarantee your life and safety at some point, did they give you a contract? Seriously, the problem is not a "Peace Officer" or "cop", it is the sustained level concerning abuse of power and corruption that makes the officer you call as dangerous as the criminal your facing. Law Enforcement are being trained to confront citizens instead of assissting them.
bigcrabrob 1 year ago
@bigcrabrob I never implied anyone would wait around for the cops. You wrote a whole "book" to me and got it wrong from the first sentence. People still call police even after the criminal has run away. I was simply saying not ALL cops are bad. People are just stereotyping when it comes to police. I've had my own run ins with police and never once was I treated abusively. They even let me ride up front once with no cuffs on when I was arrested.
1108chuck 1 year ago
@1108chuck Fair enough, I did write at length. I agree that not ALL cop's are bad, but any cop who see's abuse or corruption and keep's quite about it is equally as bad as ALL the cop's that do abuse the citizenry. Look, football is a rough game with 6'7" 340 pound men who are paid millions of $ to knock the brains out of each other. Even in a game designed for roughness, they have something called Unneccessary Roughness. How much more should a public servant be held to a similar standard?
bigcrabrob 1 year ago
@1108chuck The argument is not about whether this cop is good, or this cop is bad, but about a man's rights according to the U.S. Constitution. If a man (Good or Bad) does a bad thing, and it is covered up and praised as the right thing, then there is a Precedent set and that becomes the next level of normalcy. Every submission to the criminal normalcy of law enforcement encourages further acts of abuse. Eventually it is too late to reverse such abuse, and that is where our country is headed
bigcrabrob 1 year ago
@1108chuck Law enforcement is necessary, however their role is as a servant of the public, not master's of the masses. I will not take abuse from a police officer, I would rather take the taser and go to court, and see him or her pay the price of there criminal activity. One day it wont just be "dont talk back to me boy" or "You wanna go to jail?" It will be "Step outside while we "talk" with your wife" and you will listen to them fuck her untill they are content. Think I am wrong?
bigcrabrob 1 year ago
@1108chuck Germany, Russia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Italy, France, Argentina, Britain, and the list goes on, and on, and on. All of these nations have suffered the sting of a Police State, yet none of them started as one. How novel that something so dangerous and insideous evolves from the inside, we believe that we are all Americans with the same values; this is not the case. Why do we have monopoly law's, anti-trust law's, why do we have law's at all. Why did we desire a constitution?
bigcrabrob 1 year ago
@1108chuck The reason we have any of the above mentioned items and law's is because of experience. Our founding father's and the American's wished to be free men, men who did not bow down to King's and Lord's, or there henchmen for that matter. We have a Constitution to Insure the proper treatment of all citizen's and above all, protection of our right's. In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution. T.J.
bigcrabrob 1 year ago
Did you know the gov is working to limit the right you have to take video in public. That you will need written permission of all parties in the video.

you see, rule of law requires that one be treated exactly as another and being that government is a fiction created as a separate being it has the same obligations and duties as any other living breathing human being, as such when this government created fiction creates a crime it must make repairs to those crimes to its victim just the same as any other individual. Check thier law books,, they don't hold themselves accountable. they are indeed crimiinals under thier law and international law
chris532008 1 year ago
Cops are state-sponsored violent criminals with badges, uniforms guns and equipment. They are criminals and should be treated like criminals. I breathe a sigh of relief when one of those scum are justly offed!
And yes if the cops are giving your local residents problems and threatening not only them but their families, then assemble with guns, disarm the cops and put them under citizen's arrest. Time to take the blue pill and unplug yourself from the ZOG matrix!
Catuxalina 1 year ago
If the cops are giving your local residents problems, then assemble with guns.
It is our right to assemble and bear arms, and if there are other bullies with guns, then you've got to fight back. People keep saying "things will change" butt the politicians don't do anything, and its like Americans are sitting on their asses.
People need to come out of their dream world, realize that no one is going to take care of them but themselves. The police can't function if citizens don't cooperate.

you are correct, the fact of the matter there are only two capabilities under the physical world. attorneys have tried to create some other divinity type realm in which they have devine authority not to be questioned and control over man. theonly two realities are the actual living human being or a fiction. No victim, no crime.
punkeratheart 1 year ago
@punkeratheart You make a fair point but that said you could also take into account those who use it, get addicted, can't afford it then steal to fund thier habit. Then theres the cost of those who don't work (most who abuse drugs don't, you might) and the benefits the government pays for that.
fireamusmus 1 year ago
@fireamusmus If drugs were legal and fda regulated (like alcohol) it wouldn't be such an issue. When heroin was invented (bayer, 1898) it was sold OTC for cheap, and no one had to steal to get it. Prohibition creates the black market, prices soar, and you have a whole new culture around a drug. Besides, if I steal to feed myself, I go to jail. If I steal because I like shiny objects, off to jail I go. I steal to buy booze, forward my mail to the county jail. But just taking drugs hurts only me.
punkeratheart 1 year ago
@punkeratheart Yeah thats true, you have to take into account other factors though (not necessarily marajuana/pot/weed whatever) but take heroin... mainly produced in Afghanistan profits of which fund terrorism which is used to blow us all up.... thats one example.
fireamusmus 1 year ago
@fireamusmus That is an example of why it should be legal. Any legal drug (like heroin was when BAYER first introduced it) would be manufactured here and sold at the drug store, or in liquor stores. That would take business away from the Aghan cartels, just like the end of prohibition killed the bootlegging industry. Just like the legalization of cocaine would bankrupt the columbian cartel and the CIA.

It's not an armed robbery or a kidnapping. This is why I think (even though you don't admit it) you're Anti-Cop.
procussionist 1 year ago
@procussionist
Try the book "The 5000 Years Leap"
ny1t 1 year ago 2
@ny1t
this parsing of the constitution with cops is all intellectual masturbation.
focusing your anger on the authority figure (cops) is childish. The problem is the law. Go to the next step, organize a political movement and talk to the people that can change the law is the only way things will change. You show them you can bring voters and you might get their attention. Hell, you may find out the cops don't like the law either but ignoring your provocation would mean losing their livelihood
MagicTimeVideos 1 year ago
@procussionist While I agree with you that there is something to be said for obeying the letter of the law, I think that there is also something to be said for changing some of the laws on the books. I don't advocate drug use, but I think that we should take a hands-off approach by informing people that they can do what they like as long as they don't expect us to bail them out if they get themselves into trouble as a result of their actions.

ny1t 1 year ago
@ny1t What are you talking about? He was knowingly in possession of an illegal substance. He wanted to be arrested he was arrested... I'm sure by this time he has paid his fine or done his time... Case closed. The police did their job. Now he can continue his travels.... BTW " Right to Travel" is not in the US Constitution.
snowfan 1 year ago
@snowfan

Guess they were too scared, kind of defeats the purpose of having a gun...

@savemyplaylist
how stupid are you?
FreedomCanada2010 2 years ago
@FreedomCanada2010
In the US people bitch about how they need their guns to defend themselves against a tyrannical government.
Getting arrested is not defending your rights, it's giving in to the tyrannical government.
By hey, these are the same people who want a peaceful revolution. Tell that to Gandhi after he got clubbed in the head or shot and killed...
savemyplaylist 2 years ago
@savemyplaylist
again how stupid are you? Guns are indeed what is considered the last line of defense and is indeed a defense against tyranny. But before using your last line of defense you must exhaust all other means at your disposal. This includes what is known as Notice of Understanding and Intent and a Claim of Rights. If executed to perfection, under their own laws you can defend your right to exist as a Freeman of Flesh and Blood standing on dry land with all rights stated in the NOU

this is not kidnapping, nor is it arresting...this is a person being arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and the seizure of his controlled substance. it is fine what the cop did, he doesnt have to bag it or preserve evidence until his suspect is under control...
del0griffith 2 years ago
I take it you're not familiar with the Freeman On The Land mentality. No problem. Look up Rob Mernard. I'm just learning about it so I'm doing my research on paper and by watching what's going on in the videos. So far what I see is a bunch of criminal thugs harassing and falsely imprisoning declared sovereigns.
The mentality is accurate from what I can tell. The problem is, these thugs are ignorant to the fact. Even the judges are ignorant to the fact.

When 750,000 people a year are arrested every year for marijuana, when America, home of the free and land of the brave becomes the world's largest jailer, when we keep terminally ill patients from using one of the safest, most effective drugs known to mankind, then it ceases being a legitimate arrest and becomes enforcement of unconstitutional laws to prop up a tyrannical regime.
jgmaynard 2 years ago 2
When harmless people are raped, beaten and killed in overcrowded jail cells because they are in there for possessing a drug FAR less harmful than what the state of NH itself sells, when murderers, rapists and hardened criminals are released to make way for people who were caught with cannabis, we have to say "no - no more" - anything less would be immoral and slavish.
jgmaynard 2 years ago 10
@jgmaynard its all about the police showing that they are in control and the people have no power to stop them, the old saying was I WILL SUE YOU FOR FALSE ARREST but no one does and the police keep on arresting everyone with no fear of a lawsuit, that is the power the police have over us.if people would start suing the police every time they are falsely arrested then it might stop but no ones does.
maverick10241 1 year ago
When we spend $7.7 billion dollars a year in enforcement costs for cannabis nationwide while our families are losing their homes because of excessive taxes, we need to demand accountability and restitution.
The police, when they prevent people from harming one other, are a brave and powerful force. But when that power is perverted, and used to take more money away from our children to further aggrandize the para-militarization of the local police forces, then it is time to take that power back.
jgmaynard 2 years ago 2
There are some orders which are so inhumane, so torturous and degrading to a free society that ALL people, especially those charged with enforcing the laws, MUST say "no" and refuse to cooperate, or it is nothing short of a crime against humanity.
We need to end this prohibition, return to the free and just society that our founding fathers intended and to right the wrongs that have been committed against ourselves, our families and our children.
jgmaynard 2 years ago
It's funny how the freestaters call it armed robbery and kidnapping, hahaha. I don't see the armed robbery nor the kidnapping, please look up the defintion for armed robbery and kidnapping before making yourself look like an idiot! In addition, they write "arrested for holding a plant", don't forget to add the word "Marijuana" before plant. A legitimate arrest! All these freestaters are doing is making the citizens of NH look like idiots! Freestaters, please leave NH. Thank you.
ness1785 2 years ago
Legitimate? The UN peace keeping forces(not to mention many other military forces) can rape women legitimately and/or get away with it. That doesn't make it anything other than rape.
xprincexofxsavagesx 2 years ago
Who is talking about rape? Who is talking about the UN? Who is talking about the military? Yes, we are talking about a legitimate arrest made by the Keene, NH PD, and "Yes" having marijuana in the state of NH is "ILLEGAL", so yes it was a "LEGITIMATE" arrest. You can disagree all you want, but if you FREE STATER'S have a problem with that then why don't you guys go and stand in front of the state LEGISLATURE and do all these stupid demonstrations that you guys do, plain and simple!
ness1785 2 years ago
Amazing. Not only you do you sensationalize a simple arrest, but you add "hearsay" into your commentary (the cop put the weed into his pocket.. OF COURSE HE DID. There were 40 pissed off potheads there. He just wanted to get the arrest done and over with)
cableman123 2 years ago
"He just wanted to get the arrest done and over with"
Sure. And that bit of mind reading doesn't amount to the same thing as "hearsay" at all.
Seriously, how about consistency; first you insinuate that it hadn't happened, then you blatantly confirm that it did.
xprincexofxsavagesx 2 years ago
Where is the armed robbery and kidnapping?!? A police officer effected an arrest on a person who broke the law!!! You dumbasses need to get you heads out of your asses and get a life. Work to change the laws or shut the fuck up!!! You bitch and complain about the laws, but are only willing to "not cooperate" with law enforcement and not do anything else. You are a bunch of pussies!
jpitts726 2 years ago
Right, people who just pull a lever for an R or D, hoping for change that will never come, are the brave ones, while people who are willing to stand up and be arrested for what they believe in are the pussies.
Just like Rosa Parks, or Gandhi, what cowards they were.
Douche.
ninjabunnyman 2 years ago
Psychologically cops are pussies. This is why these sociopath types gravitate towards jobs that put them in positions of authority and/or where they get to carry a weapon. What these cops don't realize is that their own children (God help us) are going to be growing up in the police state that are helping to create and enforce. If not for pot smokers the police would have to actually work for their living confronting real criminals such as rapists and murderers. We can't have that now can we?
RandyWayneFricke 2 years ago
Well its hard to stop rapists and murderers since the city I work in hasent had a murder in 4 years and no one has reported a rape in a year and a half. But the city I work has a bad drug problem. Which many of the people started off using pot and ended up on herion and rock cocaine. That is why you enforce the law. Oh about being a pussy I like to see you do our job for one night. I like how he said arrested for driving without a license. Is it OK to drive without one. You guys are so mature.
limpboard 2 years ago
Oh yea, even though some of you free staters carry guns. I bet when you need the police you'll be calling 911 saying "please help me"
limpboard 2 years ago
I'd do my best to avoid it. I wish you allowed competition, so I could choose a more efficient alternative protection agency, which did not violate my moral beliefs, but unfortunately if I don't fund your little monopoly, you take my house away. Nice business you've got there. "Protection" just like Al Capone.
ninjabunnyman 2 years ago
Well, I, and many others, believe that violence is only justly used in self defense, or defense of innocents.
Apparently you have no such moral code, but just do whatever the law tells you to. You're apparently happy to violently intervene in other people's private business, even if they clearly do not harm others. I wonder, if the law said to throw all jews in boxcars, if you would do that too, as most German cops did.
I wouldn't do your job -- I don't like assaulting innocent people.
