  • what"s the mileage on your bullett??

i'm about to buy one with 109k from the original owner, any thoughts?

  • Hey man what kind of x pipe were you using?

  • @DudexW7x It was a upr o/r x-pipe

  • I'm thinking about the same set up myself, as far as the exhaust system goes, I already have the Super 44 series goin' but my question is:

With the off-road X-pipe and the Super 44's attached, it's completely street legal according to emissions correct? I was thinking about it and I live in Dallas so I wanna make sure it is.

  • @MrTrader25 Taking the cats off with an o/r pipe is illegal. Unless you have actual car inspections, you really don't have anything to worry about unless you go revving the crap out of it by a cop.

  • @Halocon they get about 16mpg in the city and 23 on the interstate, at least that's what i get but some days i get 10 in the city, it just depends how hard you are on it haha

  • Better be a V8.

  • @uhNate YOU CANT TELL??? idiot...

  • How can anyone dislike this???

  • @imike182 I dont think so but there are many axle backs for your 08 that sound nice too. good luck bro

  • kinda puts a tingle in your dingle! sounds like it has big twig and berries!!! nice bud

  • honest opinion. what sounds better. the 44s with x pipe or h pipe. cus im having a hard time deciding due to the sound over a computer. I dont know very many ppl who put a different set up on their cars. only my buddies do their trucks.

  • My friend had a blue 01' Bullitt and it had some sweet sounding mufflers stock but only a paltry 265 horses @ 5900 RPM but it made 325 lbs. @ 5700 RPM. And he had to pay $280.00 a month ( SVT Cobra/Lightning) insurance! And he'd never had an insurance claim in all 40 years since it was 01'-02' at the time and he's about 50 years old now.... It ran something like 102 mph @ 14 seconds, bone stock. I'm not all that into Fords but it was sweet. I'm a Mopar guy m'self....

  • flowmasters are for v8s only in my opinion

  • @robertt7747 Unless you have a Buick T-Type or GN turbo 3.8 V6! That is the only domestic V6 that is an exception.

  • @Navajas440 i agree

  • I love my Bullitt.

#2380 sits right next to my cobrajet torino. (1971).

    your bullitt sounds great.

I just might hit 15,000 miles on mine this summer. (2011).

  • @SFMedic300F1 I'm not big on Fords 'cept for the ones you got. And the 67-70 Cougars and the 72 Torinos. Know why ? Cuz of Ford deciding to consume 40% of the engine bay w/ those bigass shock towers into an hourglass shape for the bay.Shoulda taken a clue from GM and Mopar and mounted it lower for more real estate. I love my Mopars,AMC's and Buick. In that order.01' Bullitt's are badass , so are the 72' Torinos. he 03' Mach 1's were overshadowed and had 320 HP ? And the shaker scoop! Dom. rule

  • needs maor low

  • nice car man...i got the same haha #1156....how much was your set up? no headers right? what kind of cats are on there? i want to do the exhaust on mine but im having trouble figuring out whats worth the money to make it sound...like yours haha

  • @HondaRiderCR250 Now remember, this was back in late 2007...

    First, I did:

    UPR o/r x-pipe - $200

    MIL Eliminator Kit - $60

    Labor - $80

    Second, I added:

    2xFlowmaster Super 44 mufflers - $220

    Labor - $60

So total everything with two separate labor charges ~ $650

  • @austin101385 You didn't do your own work?

  • @Jackd91 Sorry, don't own a welder...my 2011 GT is all bolt-up, so yes, I've installed my axleback for now by myself

  • @austin101385 Ohhh not a bolt-on, makes sense to me then, anyways it's a killer sound.

  • @austin101385 Where did you find a Mil Eliminator at?

  • @MsCookiebutt The exhaust supplied them with the other parts as well

  • nice car man...i got the exact same haha #1156...how much did your pipes cost? no headers right? and do you have cats on it? i want to do the exhaust on mine but im having trouble figuring out how much its gonna cost to make it sound...like yours lol

  • back that ass up

  • Nice car i also got a bullitt an it is green to it just hit 47,000 miles an i love it would not trade it for nothing

  • nice bullitt, but the more i hear flowmasters on mod motors the more i wanna take mine off. i guess its time for round five on my exhaust. lol

  • to many in tn i want one but all the idiots rice them out wing crapy hoods that sort of thing

  • tight car man one of my fav. mustangs. idc what ppl say i got flow masters on my stang and i love the sound

  • some one woke up the dragon....

  • personally i think the 2004 mach 1 looks soo much beater

  • No matter what I still think the 99-04 models sound the best.

  • @bpguitarist7 i agree... just something about the way they were made makes them sound amazing. my favorite sounding engine !

  • damn. i want an o/r x pipe, but I dont got what I need to do it. A lift would make it easier, but i dont got that. local muffler shop dont wanna do o/r midpipe install. shit sucks.

  • @koolclient find a performance shop!

  • @koolclient Its not really that hard to install the pipe, even without a lift. The hardest part is getting the stock h pipe disconnected from the passenger side header, its kind of a bitch. If you don't want to do it yourself you really shouldn't have trouble finding a muffler shop to do it. Most muffler shops won't touch the header swap but mufflers and o/r pipe shouldn't be a problem. I would check around a little more.

  • breath breath!

  • nice car nice sound nice garage and nice basketball court!

  • sweet car, nice sound.

  • nice garage

  • my parents owned one here in texas it was fast we sold it to a guy in Vergina 36,000 with 20,000mi was sick now that i think back.

  • Do you mean Virginia?

  • or Virgina?

  • i wish i had a bullitt i do have a black cobra with things taken off like the wing anf the side skirts put new ones on so it looks like a bullit

oh yea no thing in the front of the rear tire not sure what itsd called

but bullitts are so rare i cant find one

  • I do love my bullitt, but I would love to have a termi cobra...IMO one of the best looking and driving mustangs

  • yea im doing everything to make it look more like the bullitt but its still the cobra

but atleast mines faster dual overhead cams 32 valve and better injectors but the bullit is different

  • Nice sounding Bullitt. :) I got tired of my Flows tho. I recently switched to Pypes Violators.

  • your an idiot for swtiching to pypes. just fyi

  • Well, i still have the flows so when either i get a ticket or get tired of the pypes ill switch em back

  • pypes sound like complete and utter dogshit. I had them and I'm dissapointed that I didn't change earlier. I have supre 44's and my car is quiter than it was with pypes.

  • Eh i kinda like the pypes. Flows were just too quiet for me, plus every mustang around my area has Flows. I wanted something louder n different sounding. When i first had the Flows installed, i ran a BBK offroad X pipe, for about 2 days. The X pipe souded like ass so i sold it n now run an offroad h.

  • I know it's expensive, but if you want louder but like the flows...get long tube headers with the shorty o/r hpipe and flows

  • Yeah sometime in the next few months im going to get longtubes and a shorty o/r h. Got a few other things to do the Bullitt first tho, like 4.10's and nitrous. I may switch back to my Super 44's when i get the longtubes. I have a feeling with longtubes, the Violators will be overwhelmingly loud.

  • what is an air silencer? i have never heard of that before for us mustang owners? i have a 99 that is heavily modded but i bought a K&N drop in for 58 bucks at auto zone for my grandpa's GT and put it on for him as a favor since he has done so much for me but the air silencer you mentioned, if you take that off is it better?

  • It is the piece that sticks into the tire well to pull air into the intake filter...I did read that you can actually lose power by removing this (actual dyno results) so I put it back in. The air is cooler from the tire well than the engine compartment

  • I don't think there is a major difference in HP so if you like the sound, keep it. I just want to keep it looking as stock as possible under the hood

  • I like the older Mustang models, allot better then the new models.

    1969 Models were pretty good.

  • my parents have a black bullitt, I cant seem to convince my dad to get at least an aftermarket x pipe lol..

  • If he likes the stock sound, tell him to just put an o/r h-pipe...same sound, just louder (sounds awesome)...wish I went that route, but I still like my system

  • Yeah, Idk though I think he likes the idea of having a rare car bone stock, which I can understand, but at the same time you can always bolt the stock mid pipe back on.. My 89 has shorty headers, o/r H and 3" dumps- Ive got enough loud for the both of us haha..

  • Yeah, I understand that completely - I kept both my stock h-pipe and bullitt mufflers just in case. The good thing is that an o/r H is bolted on so it doesn't weld and make it hard to reverse

  • Yeah, and for smogging purposes its good to keep the stock catted pipe, I still have my 4 catted stock h pipe for that reason. Living in Cali sucks for that, but I suppose with how many people there are it isn't a terrible idea; although I run catless year round.

  • black? i though they only came in forest green or midnight blue?

  • Yeah black.. They came in blue black green, (in order or rarity, blue being the rarest).

  • I have a Silver Mustang Bullitt GT. Unless VIN and Titles Lie

  • There's no such thing as a silver bullitt, unless it was re-painted. Do you have the hologram bullitt sticker in the engine bay and under the rear seat behind the driver? That will show if it's a true bullitt

  • ahah he was talking about his slow riced out civic hahaha

  • @austin101385 There are silver Bullits. I have one in my garage right now a 2001. :)

  • The bullitt did not leave the factory silver, yours was painted...

  • wow, must be a 1 of 1, lmao!

  • Love the sound of a UPR X-Pipe man!

Just put one on my 01 KB GT i wanna switch to the Super 44's there a bit louder than the org 40's.k later nice bullitt tho i'm saving for a black one.

  • WICKED!!! SICK!!! OH MAN!!!

  • a Mach 1 chin spoiler would bring your car together real nice

  • I also have a question, What type of O/R X are you running?

  • UPR o/r X-pipe

  • what setup do you think i could do on a 89 camaro with a 305

    i was thinking straight pipes,

but what do you think would sound best

  • My friend had a 96 camaro and was running the 80 series flowmaster specifically for a camaro type car and it sounded like thunder. He of course had not cats. But I don't know much about the irocs, just look around on youtube for some and choose what you like

  • a 350 =). 80 series muffler is flowmasters, and i beleive thatll be the best one like austin said.

  • look better with a spoiler in my opinion.. but i know nobody cares about my opinion lol

  • The 01 Bullitt came without a spoiler as well as fog lights and other subtle changes for a sleeker look.

  • i had the wing on my 01 GT and took it off, the car isnt gonna take off for flight anytime soon lol so why have it on there

  • reply to stlcap5- haha yea i just did the same. im about to go to autozone and buy some paint to paint the caps i bought to cover up the holes it left. ive gotten so many compliments on it

  • @xkillerbee07x thn it wouldnt be a bullit 0.o

  • @xkillerbee07x I agree

  • sexy

  • wats louder flowmaster or bassani?

  • I would think bassani because of their straight-thru design. It all depends on the mid-pipe installed as well though...

  • i would say bassani is louder but flows give it a deeper more hollow and rich sound.

  • Im looking into buying a super 44. for my expedition. I want dual exhaust. I currently have 1 pipe. Any1 can help me with what i should get to make it sound real meannnn. im new to this whole thing. thanksss

  • If you can run "true" duals, that would sound the best...delete the catalytic converters for louder volume (but causes more resonance inside the car), and put on some super 44s

  • I hope you engine was not cold. You need to let it warm up a bit. Nice sounding mustang! Do you have cats on it?

  • arent the old bullitt rims supposed to be darker than that. if your truly looking to replicate the old one.

  • No, this is a true 2001 Bullitt. The new 2008 Bullitts have dark bullitt rims, but these are what came on the 2001 Bullitts

  • except the corvette walked it. Sorry to burst your GTR walks everything bubble.

  • Faster enjo kosei sisters jajajajaja Otaku=nerd

    jajajaja

  • Im looking to do the o/r x-pipe soon but not sure what to do with the 02 sensors. did you overide the computer some how or jut ignore the check engine light? CAR SOUNDS AWESOME!!

  • mil eliminators will solve that problem

  • gotta admit the 44s sounds like a complete knockoff of MACs flowpath mufflers but they sound good though.

  • dude sounds awesome i have the same setup on my bullitt but i have a h-pipe instead of an x-pipe but great video

  • fuck japanese cars....Mustang number one!! Gringos pendejos estan destruyendo su propia industria automotriz y los japoneses felices.

  • VW is actually German, but good point, 4-cyl are meant for good gas mileage and sound retarded modified

  • you should start modifying the jetta..

  • makes me miss my GT. How's this thing do against cobras?

  • GT's are NO competition for cobras...

  • i mean 96-01's. Not the 03-04. My 98 held its own against my buddies 97 svt. With every bolt on they made for the non PI GT's, and 315/35/r17 nitto 555R street slicks i would beat him in the quarter but he would catch me shortly after. He had, cold air, mass air meter, tune, x pipe, and catback. The only chance i had was off the line with the extra grip i got from the 17x12.

  • i think joeg525 got confused thinking it was a v6 since he didn't see a wing on the car were GTs usually have one

  • Yeah i had super 40's on my GT and i didn't like it...It was only slightly louder than stock. A guy once passed me with a GT and his exhaust was awesome..I asked him what kind it was and he told me Magnaflow....Not sure if he had an x pipe or what...but that sucker sounded sweet...I never got the chance to get one for the GT...My ex wife forced me to sell it...I'm hoping to have another one by summer. BITCH. :)

  • See man, that's why you don't get married lol, if it came down to my hot rod or my girl/wife, whoever she may be, SHE'S THE ONE GETTIN' FIRED LOL!

  • what kind of x-pipe is this?

  • I'm not sure. I dropped it off at the muffler shop asking for a H-pipe, came back and they had the off-road X-pipe...never thought to ask what brand

  • that sounds... beautiful!

  • From one Bullitt owner to another, that sounds badass! I think you just helped me decide on my exhaust combo! Any more vids?

  • thats no V6. thats a V8 Bullitt.

  • -_- Please tell me you were joking....

  • Hey Dude do those 44 make a bigger diference than the reguler Flowmasters?

  • 44's are supposedly deeper and more throaty than the 40's

  • Yeah, that's what I've been reading, Flowmaster says the 44's are the most aggressive, deep sounding muffler in their line, I have the 40's on my 84 Monte Carlo and I get compliments from everywhere, people tell me they can hear me comin' from the down the street!

  • i talked to a guy at flowmaster and they said that 44 is suppose to be louder but he said side by side its a slight difference but never have seen one side by side i my self just have the super 40s

  • Sex on wheels. 5 stars !!

  • the GT's have the 5.0 liter right?

  • no, the '96 - current mustang gt has the 4.6L modular V8...the earlier foxes had the 5.0s

  • holy shit

  • sexy time

  • very nice! I cant wait to get mine in

  • Aw man that video was way too short lol! I love these 44 mufflers, wicked bad ass. Nice sounding 'stang bud.

  • Aw man that video way way too short lol. It's funny how the same muffler can sound so much different. I love mine, but they are two different noises.

  • All i can say is MMMMMMMMMMMMMM

    very nice
