My husband and i set up Windows 7 on my personal laptop and it functions beautifully. I down loaded it via Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and it authorized really fast.

one thing though - a while back i download build 7000 i think it was, but obviously that's out of date now what's the best way to get build 7077 or is it worth waiting for the RC?

I love Windows 7. Windows 7 restored my faith in Microsoft. Microsoft is learning from there missing with Vista and Internet Explorer.

Toby, are you dual booting or using a virtual machine. Because I want to install windows 7 but I don't know whether I can be asked to mess around with a dual boot. I used the beta with VMWare, but the performance was't really all that.

Im dual booting, I installed it on a separate hard drive but before i had it on a separate partition no problem. Dual booting is really easy with Windows 7 because it can search for other windows installations and then it automatically adds itself and Vista to the boot screen

I like Windows 7. It's as fast as XP and I got dream scene to work (And it is still as fast as XP).

Why does your video lags? It isn't smooth or realtime...

it is recorded using Camtasia, it is screen recording software, therefore it is only recording at about 8 frames/ second

Nice review, good quality. Btw, when you use the "shake" to make the other windows disappear, if you "shake" the window again all the windows will reappear.

i think winderz 7 will be a success, the system requirements are similar to xp but looks just as good or better than vista, also the memory footprint is just as big or smaller than xp which is a huge plus.
