I think NESN and Remy think that they are bigger than the game. I'll admit that Remy and Ocillo may be fun to watch at times but they really lack the professionalism necessary to be considered greats. Give me Michael Kay and Paul Oneil any day.
The look on Tim Wakefield's face was priceless. You know that the players didn't like it.
It just goes to prove that the media should cover the action, not become the action. NESN broke the cardinal rule of broadcasting.
That is part of it though. Everybody attempts to be so professional that a 162 game season becomes menotenous. He is a goofball but nobody can say that the man does not know Baseball. He is a very good color guy and that is what color guys are for. Granted he puts comedy into it, and most others don't, but most others are not as funny as Jerry. If there is a organizational move i.e. a trade, or managerial move he says what he thinks and give thoughtful opinions. If hes funny than that's a bonus.

The NESN broadcasts have become more about Don and Jerry than about the Sox. I could understand that if the Sox stunk and they had to fill a lot of time but the Sox are a strong team that is never really out of any game. Remy has become a clown. Clowns are great if you are laughing with them but they become a little sad when people start laughing at them. Remy and Ocillo have crossed the line and it makes them less effective and kind of a joke.

to me it looks like the window is closed in this footage but if it's open that would of been very tragic if he had fallen out.
