when you say waterbomb base, when you have that triangle fold. is that because thats the first step into making those inflatable balls you fill with water and throw? (im asuming you can fill them with water, i just inflate them)

Yes, the "water bomb" model begins with the waterbomb base. Many models begin with a waterbomb base and turn into flowers, frogs, etc., whereas the butterfly ball is made from just waterbomb bases.

This was the second modular model I had made. I knew how to make waterbomb bases but this assembly is delicate. The assembly directions are perfect and not easy. This model taught me patience and persistence which has been handy in my more recent more complex modulars. Thank you very much for this great video.
