Incongruity is the base of many humors, and dramatic irony a subset of it. This video is superb! People may become jaded against irony because it's being marketed to us as something cool (therefore you must rebel against it!) but as we see here it can be fantastic. This video is fucking hilarious! Hey, it's the weekend, I'm gonna wash my car, yeah!

ur right because what makes more sense is spending millions on a music video while that money could go towards something better,like feeding the poor,building homeless shelters,donating money for cancer research.but hey at least it will be a really cool music video with lots of fast cars,and hot almost naked girls.

Well, I agree to an extent Cloud. I'm not saying music videos should be expensive and boring like 99% of the broadcast ones... but on the other hand cheap and boring is just as bad.

You don't need a budget to make it visually interesting. There are hundreds of music videos on youtube that are proof enough of that. Ideally the video should add to the appeal of the song, this one just takes away from a great song/album.

And yeah hugh, of course its digital, I was just using an expression.
