@Variated Hey, I'm not sure if combat has much do with it. es you do need the Varrock diary hard task completed but that mostly requires some decently high skill levels and some quests done. Look into the quests that are required then look to see if theres a combat requirement :)

Even though this is a great, fast way of training mage. I enjoy the bursting method better, mainly for the reason that it gives you 6-7m hp exp from 80. I'm a lvl 110, with 99 range, 94 hp, and 84 magic, after I'm done, I'll have spent money on magic, and got two capes. If I already had 99 hp, I'd do this one though.

Its quicker for banking if you toggle your spell book to teleport spells first and toggle out all but miscellaneous spells. Use F1 to toggle to inventory and F4 for magic wait till just before the last amulet will be strung click bank and hit f4 at the same time, then deposit and withdraw amulets, closing the bank and move your mouse over the second amulet on the second row, by the time you do this the magic tab will have appeared and you will be hovering over string amulet, click and repeat.

Good video other than slow banking, mouse-keys are unnecessary with my method and overall its faster, probably 2-3%, which counts in the long run. Also I'm not sure that its quite 160k exp/hr, more like 150k if not lower, I never recorded rates though.

More like 130k xp/hr when i was getting 99 magic.

Regular costs using gold ammies atm :

-2 astrals cost, 330 gp/set

-Gold amulet (u) 124 gp/ea

-Gold amulet (s) 124 gp/ea

So presuming you're wielding a mud staff, after selling each cast costs around 200 gp (206 to be exact).

The whole inventory is also afk, so yea good method :D

If you're gonna make something like this though, put at least abit more detail

(Price of rune x how many runes you use)+(price of gold ammys x how many gold ammys you use)-(price of gold amulets strung x how many gold ammys you bought)

The remaining should be what you lost. Correct me if I'm wrong.
