I'll admit, for the first 2 albums, I wasn't much of a Circa Survive fan. Despite having their first 2 albums on my ipod, I found Anthony Green's voice whiny and annoying. However, his voice has improved massively in this album, as have the other band members in their instrumentation. As a result, I am actually enjoying this album more than I thought I would. Especially this song, which is currently on repeat. Play this song to the CS haters, see what they say now.

But when its all mainly the one sound, then it becomes that one genre. Like this song definatley is punk for the first 25 seconds. Then the prog comes in at around 50 seconds. its all a mixture of those genres but sometimes, one of those genres is omitted which still allows it to be post hardcore as long as a certain mixture is there.
