As a driver, I like the NABIs. For the driver, theres lots of room in the drivers compartment. The only thing i dont like about these buses is that the pedals are too close together.
i have to say that the new short buses look nice, i have seen them on the santa ana transit terminal, the are more round and a bit fany looking. i still dont know their series number
at least half of the 2100s have been rehabbed already. The newer engine works wonders. Cummins ISL-G engine. The same natural gas engine LACMTA are repowering their NewFlyers with

@ea90744 But you can do hot starts without having to pull the parking brake :)

I dont like these buses, they get full too quickly and OCTA puts them on during peak hours on some of the busiest routes :(

Sadly they are hear to stay. A group of the NABIs are being rehabbed and once they come back it will be Bye Bye Gilligs.
