Romina lives now in USA, but last year she was invited to the show Amiche del Cuore on Rai Uno in Italy. She has the confidence of a strong, independent American woman with an artificial, detached American smile. What a difference..... I heard she was not able to get over the mysterious death/disappearance of her daughter, she kept believing that the girl was still alive & being somewhere, she wanted to keep searching for her... & that caused the stress to the (ex) husband leading to the separation, then he remarried and she left the country... But with a mother's heart, I could understand her. How can you get over something like that... If I was her I believe I would do the same...

@mercuryplannet Yeah, she disappeared in New Orlean in 1994 and was never seen again. Many people believe that Romina never got over it (how could you, really?) and that it eventually destroyed their relationship. Very sad story. :(
