Another nice vid! I'm amazed by how many people are obsessed with mentioning u dont wear headphones! I don't either on a pole.

A radio pole makes things so much easier .

Plus I find handling noise is alot less without the contact with the cable.

And i love the fact your not especially tall. I'm 5 foot 9 have been booming professionally for eleven years. often get grief for being a short boom op. but find being able to squeeze into small places very handy.

this is and old video of my work. now I always use headphones as a reference audio.

about the xlr.... we usually use wireless transmiter and a reciver on mixer ( senheiser 3000/5000)
