@swvaoutlaw Not a thing. Only thing is when you buy the rims (depending on how theyre made) they might give you a wheel spacer to put behind the wheel so nothing rubs. Just have a pro do it all, that way if something does happen, ppl cant blame you for it. They should know off the bat if youd need them or not.

And the company slapped on the paint pretty think so idk how any signal would get through that. I had to wrap some flex tie wire around the top of it and route it down in the antenna hole where the grommet is and route it up thru my trunk and up the window stripping of my rear window. Haha works now.
@tylor686 I traded it in last December for an 08 V6 Stang. Soon be a year that ive had it. Haha i love it. But i loved that Cobalt. Always treated me well. I drove it for 75K miles and had it for about 3 years and the only repair i ever made to it (other than general maintenance) was i had to change the thermostat. GM's last forever man. Haha.
@tylor686 Yeah u can just take an adjustable wrench and adjust it into the flat sides of the base of the stock mast. Its a 2 minute job. The only thing is, if your car is washed at car washes alot (where they take the antenna mast off the car while its going through) they might put the mast back on the car with the antenna threads still being wet and when u screw it back on, the threads rust to each other making it very hard to unscrew. (Thats what happened to me). So if not, ull be done quick.
@Dreloc21 The tail lights were the same throughout every year they made the cobalt unless you got the 2 door...these aftermarket lights are not ones you usually see though. I got them off ebay years ago and never saw anyone sell them again.
Not bad. I can't afford the insurance on an SS model so I have been looking into an LS. Not sure I would race it but visual wise, it looks great and I like the sound of the exhaust. Could be deeper.
Looking pretty good, only thing? Why still stock suspension? These cars sit in 4x4 status, get some ksports great drop with a good pricetag. I'm happy with them on my LT coupe. And maybe an ss front bumper, being how you have silver it should be relatively easy to find one in your color. Keep up the good work though!

@reaperz1769 Haha yeah a little while after i made this video, i ended up puttin an Eibach lowering kit on it. I think it ended up bein like 1.2" lower in front and 1.5" lower in back. Leveled it out really well! Handled real good too. But either way, i got rid of this car in mid December and got an 08 V6 Mustang. Im about to put up an Exhaust video so check that out too and lemme kno what you think.

@abgtbikes93 I actually got it off ebay. Theres alot on there so you should have no issue findin it. I wanna say it was around 90 bucks. And it installs right over the stock grille. It comes with screws and some solid wing nuts or bar nuts i guess you can say. and the bar nuts straddle behind the stock grille in order to hold the billet grille on. Pretty simple actually.

@eyesore1978 oh thats pretty cool. So i guess with the program, you get an OBD port that hooks to your computer too? and its all done through that? And it prob costs more for them to send you a new program each time doesnt it?
@tac79phoenix yeah u need a cable to hook it from the OBD to ur computer, I think its $200 for each time u need to upgrade it, so its best to do all ur mods first then do the tune...be cheaper in the long run

Ive spoken to some guys that work for the performance and auto shops at the GM dealerships and they were sayin that the first ppl they go to when it comes to computer tunin is HP. And this one that ive seen is a legit software that alters pretty much everythin all from your laptop. Haha experience preferred tho
@duffy7591 cool it bro this thing is compatible to the 2.4 SS. I get 165 to the wheels and the 2.4's get 177 at the flywheel. Take away 10hp from power distribution loss to the wheels and theyre too close to call.

@camopaint0707 idk why you think im bullshittin you. Its not impossible for a freakin 2.2 to make that kind of power. And yeah i have been to a fkn dyno. Guy gown the street from me has his own business and does only dyno and tuning jobs. Did 3 pulls on it and made 165 at the wheels. Bone stock at the wheels is about 140~142 hp. I have headers, catback exhaust, and a CAI. All of it gave me 25 hp. Its not impossible to get power out of an ecotec engine.
@tac79phoenix I know more about cobalts than you. Stock they make less than 140whp. I made 121whp stock. With an intake 2.4 manifold, 2.4 TB, tune, racing solutions header, downpipe, 2.25 inch exhaust I made 168. Oh and lightweight pullies. So yeah you did not make 165whp. lets see the proof.
@camopaint0707 how are you gonna say after 3 replies that you know more about them than i do? Just bc i know how to read a dyno sheet and you end up sayin im full of shit. And so what what yours made stock, not every cobalt is made and tuned exactly the same way. Theres gonna be differences with all of em. I did that pull about a year ago and the paper is long gone now. Ill go to the guy in the next couple days and see if he can find the pull in his history. He saves everything he does.
@camopaint0707 Ok i talked to that guy 2day and b4 he didnt clarify to me the readings on the dyno. He said Im puttin about 148-150 to the whls. But my prior comparison to the 2.4 SS cobalt still stands. Wheel horsepower for them is about 150 also give or take 2 horsepower or so. More research looking at that still confirms my first statement about it. I admit i was wrong, but me holding ground against cars like a Tiburon V6 GT up until about 90 mph still proves that this thing doesnt spit shit.

Besides, automatics give you more consistent times and shifts anyway. I just recently put a B&M electronic shift improver on the car and it shifts really good now. Theres no lag between gears.

@07Streetracer Haha u kno, i understand that manuals are more fun to drive but i never saw why doing things to an automatic was an automotive sin. Automatics are known to have better quarter mile times anyway. I just dont understand what the big issue is. Either way, I dont have this car anymore. Traded it in for an 08 Mustang. And dont worry, its a 5 speed. Haha.

@abgtbikes93 I actually got it off ebay. Theres alot on there so you should have no issue findin it. I wanna say it was around 90 bucks. And it installs right over the stock grille. It comes with screws and some solid wing nuts or bar nuts i guess you can say. and the bar nuts straddle behind the stock grille in order to hold the billet grille on. Pretty simple actually.

Trifecta has been around for acouple of years now I think, it even tunes ur tranny as well, and Camo u need to calm down like, ur acting like ur on CSS. net for frig's sakes...its corrupting u dude...in the spring once I put my coilovers on and hopefully have my hood (paid for it like a month ago and still don't have it) I might make a video

@tac79phoenix Its $300 for it, and when u add more mods to ur car u email them and let them know what u added and they send u a new program to ur computer and u upload it to ur car via the OBD

@tac79phoenix yeah u need a cable to hook it from the OBD to ur computer, I think its $200 for each time u need to upgrade it, so its best to do all ur mods first then do the tune...be cheaper in the long run

Ive spoken to some guys that work for the performance and auto shops at the GM dealerships and they were sayin that the first ppl they go to when it comes to computer tunin is HP. And this one that ive seen is a legit software that alters pretty much everythin all from your laptop. Haha experience preferred tho

@duffy7591 cool it bro this thing is compatible to the 2.4 SS. I get 165 to the wheels and the 2.4's get 177 at the flywheel. Take away 10hp from power distribution loss to the wheels and theyre too close to call.

@camopaint0707 idk why you think im bullshittin you. Its not impossible for a freakin 2.2 to make that kind of power. And yeah i have been to a fkn dyno. Guy gown the street from me has his own business and does only dyno and tuning jobs. Did 3 pulls on it and made 165 at the wheels. Bone stock at the wheels is about 140~142 hp. I have headers, catback exhaust, and a CAI. All of it gave me 25 hp. Its not impossible to get power out of an ecotec engine.

@tac79phoenix I know more about cobalts than you. Stock they make less than 140whp. I made 121whp stock. With an intake 2.4 manifold, 2.4 TB, tune, racing solutions header, downpipe, 2.25 inch exhaust I made 168. Oh and lightweight pullies. So yeah you did not make 165whp. lets see the proof.

@camopaint0707 how are you gonna say after 3 replies that you know more about them than i do? Just bc i know how to read a dyno sheet and you end up sayin im full of shit. And so what what yours made stock, not every cobalt is made and tuned exactly the same way. Theres gonna be differences with all of em. I did that pull about a year ago and the paper is long gone now. Ill go to the guy in the next couple days and see if he can find the pull in his history. He saves everything he does.

@camopaint0707 Ok i talked to that guy 2day and b4 he didnt clarify to me the readings on the dyno. He said Im puttin about 148-150 to the whls. But my prior comparison to the 2.4 SS cobalt still stands. Wheel horsepower for them is about 150 also give or take 2 horsepower or so. More research looking at that still confirms my first statement about it. I admit i was wrong, but me holding ground against cars like a Tiburon V6 GT up until about 90 mph still proves that this thing doesnt spit shit.

@tac79phoenix I've had since March, haven't had any probs with it yet. Its not really worth the money, wish I had known about Trifecta alot sooner. You can notice a difference from when its on and when its off tho...like I said, u should join yc . com...I've learned alot about my car from there and made alot of friends..they're planning a big meet in March at the Tail of the Dragon (near the north carolina, tennesse state lines)

Besides, automatics give you more consistent times and shifts anyway. I just recently put a B&M electronic shift improver on the car and it shifts really good now. Theres no lag between gears.

Ive went over it a few times to figure out how much it all has cost me and ive come out to around 4 grand. Somewhere in that ballpark. Haha. Its definitely an investment but it was soo worth it in my opinion. It took me close to 2 years to get it from bone stock to where its at now tho. Haha.
