Afpak policy is a joke. Both of the nations are corrupt nepotistic states run by cronies who are disguised as smugglers , thugs and mafia. The US should pull out of that area as soon as possible. The US seen as an occupier, what the Obama Admin should do is engage in nation building activities in both countries. When the US engages in building of infrastructure, schools and roads they will be seen as friends and not occupiers.
