I really miss Oahu and the Aloha Spirit that surrounded us while we were there. I went Sept 2-10, 2009 and it was soooo amazing. The people were so friendly, the weather was perfect and the beaches were beyond amazing. Hanauma Bay was my favorite place. We seen a huge sea turtle, eels, sea snakes and lots of different fishes. Amazing!! I miss it so much!!

Some parts are very busy and congested like L.A . 75 percent of the state's population live on the isle of O'ahu. The island O'ahu consist of 1 million people. Downtown Honolulu looks like a mini NYC. They never show that on television! It's not all beaches and jungle. I live in Manoa on the mountain side near U.H. It's like a small surburban town. isle of Kauai is less inhabited.

i went there just a few weeks ago. the water was great and there were many colorful fish, corals, crabs and even a sea turtle. more people should go out to the far side of the reef from the entrance, the water is deeper and the fish are bigger.
