  • thats awesome

  • it's oil? it's beutiful... :)

  • EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKK!! Magnet is pretty WON-DER-FUL!!!

  • amazing

  • how you do that

  • damn it looks like a machine from SAW 0o

  • SO COOL!!!

  • So this is how Christmas trees are made!

  • Wow, what is that stuff made out of?

  • nanoparticles of iron suspended in water.

    pretty amazing really

  • @jamesstone123

actually, the solution of iron compound molecules is in a diluted acid most of the time. it is...the stickiest shit i have ever worked with.

  • is there other tools required ??

  • this is a magnetic fluid. nothing weird and spacy. Your average high school could probably make this stuff.

  • this is only ferrofluid with magnets XD

  • good lighting!

  • Exactly. All things are created by words.

  • Nonsense. The universe doesn't need human beings for it to exist. The universe is not living or aware.

  • That is correct, the universe does not need humans. However, that does not necessitate the absence of a divine author.

  • plus you got no clue......in the universe that wich is not required is not existing....

  • u got no clu

  • @blizno I sort of agree. However, you and I are also part of the universe and the laws of physics that enabled the existence of the universe also enabled our existence. In that sense, the universe could not exist without us because it relies, as do we, on the same physical laws. Or to put it another way, both the universe and us are inevitable consequences of the laws of physics. The universe needs these laws to exist, therefore it needs us to exist (as collateral existents).

  • @ttellerx There was a time when there was no life, most probably. Therefore the Universe was without life and especially us. As for you? Well, I THINK - therefore YOU ARE! But, if you go away, on this summer's day, then you might as well take the sun away - If you go away....But if you stay ,I'll make you a day, like no day has been, or will be again, and we'll sail on the sun, we'll ride on the rain and talk to the trees, and worship the wind! So don't go away. Promise?

  • Huh? That makes no sense. This demonstration doesn't have anything to do with sound. It's moving magnetic fields.

Anyway, sound's interacting with matter hardly requires inventing deities to explain it. Sound is nothing but movement of matter in the first place. In air, sound is moving waves of higher and lower pressure. That moving matter can affect other matter is shocking...why?

  • Why then are molecules order? What causes movement?

  • Oh come on. Give him a break. Since when did Christians react with common sense? *Against* common sense, sure.

  • alot of christians prefer to let the pastor "interpret" the bible like alot of people let lawyers "interpret" the law

  • The fact that matter responds to sound is proof that sound has kinetic energy. The fact that you think this is matter responding to sound is proof of your lack of understanding that the world around us responds to what we tell it to do. God did not make this possible. We did.

  • are two different things

  • man, sounds is all about perception. There's no sound, sounds are in our heads. There's just matter, shaking around. And Energy, makin it shake, that's it. Where's the lord? show me?

  • vibration,as for GOD,as it says in jude,i think,;know brethren that we dwell in GOD and he in us for he hath given us of his spirit,as for proof there are all those NDE experiances, like the ones were thier brain stopped working and thier heart stopped beating and they exited thier bodies and acuratly described what was happening to them at the time even though they were dead, thats why alot of the so called "primitive" cultures waited 3 days before burrying thier dead, and it proves mind andbrain

  • noo nooo nooo nooonooo nononononononononononono .ç9:9:9:)):9:9:9:)9:

  • yes yees yeee yeeeeeee yeyeyeyeyeeyeeyeyeyes

  • i wonder if they could spin hard enough to create somewhat semisolid projectiles ^___^

  • Any idea if he's magnetizing the whole spiral cone at once, or if he's got some complex magnetic variations going on to create that moving effect?

  • Sorry, but its not

  • We purchased 2 kg of Ferrafluid for a physical effects sequence in the new Potter Movie... for a couldron.

It gets everywhere... nice thing is you can clean spills up with a decent rare-earth magnet.

  • where can i get 1 from and how much ?

  • ebay $20-40 search for ferrofluid

  • nice phalaces

  • now this is cool
