After his long career in Journalism & my passionate musical career, we had dreamed of sharing our sunset years, settling along the Mississippi River( in an artistic cedar A-frame home), that he loved, sailing his boat, listening to me sing & play @ my grand piano, reading, caring for our rescued Pekingese dogs, & watching the sunset together in peaceful love ... Beautiful piece of music and great lyrics. What a combination! Leslie Bricusse has written some really great songs over many year, but this has to be one of his finest works. Mancini's music and arrangement is musical perfection.
