question:.i still have te 222 version and the only problem is that it wont put me on a multiplayer server, does the patch work with multiplayer or is it just singleplayer, and how much of a difference will be made if i download the patch?

@hitmankgm The patch works with multiplayer. It even allows you to play on servers running older, pre-227 patches, just make sure you're not trying to connect to, say, a 227g server while using 227h.

@Skaarjguy that answers one question, but i cant seem to get on a multiplayer server with 222. is it just my computer, or do i have to get at least another patch to get on multiplayer

@hitmankgm It's very likely that the patch you have is incompatible with the other most commonly used patches on Multiplayer. I recommend you update to 227 because it's compatible with everything.

@hitmankgm Yes, there's a good chance that your saves will stop working with the new patch. If you want you can back them up by going to C:\Unreal\Save and copy them over to a new folder on your desktop.

Hi what did you mean by patch the game?

@Tabbykitten102 "Patch" is another word for "update". A patch usually adds extra features and bugfixes to the game after the release. Unreal has quite a few patches, the most recent one (227) being a fanpatch made by the remnants of the Unreal Community. That's the patch I use in these videos.

Ok I have a question. I have been playing this for days. My dad gave me his original cd of unreal 1998 version. In it I dont have the graphics you do, with the mirrors I cannot see myself. In the start of the game the guy dead in the chair didnt move and in mine when I save it sometimes the switchs or tanslator dont work. Would you happen to know why

@Tabbykitten102 Did you patch the game? I've never heard of these issues before but it sounds like you have an earlier version of Unreal. I'm not very knowledgeable in this game despite me playing the hell out of it, so I would recommend you could go to OldUnreal (.com) and visit the forum for help.

um how do you ulpoad flash movie onto youtube ?

What? You can't upload a flash movie directly to Youtube. It has to be converted to a WMV or AVI file. I'm not sure how to do that, though.
