If you run the derby and skip the preakness you should not be allowed to run in the belmont, a few times now shit head trainers and owners have done this and it cost smarty jones a triple crown, would have been first triple crown then in 28-30 years. Horses that skip the preakness are working on more rest and I thought they wanted things to be as fair as possiable. Look at how many have won belmont that skiped preakness. It is BS
