your some shit. For his age? I know people that have been knuckleballin since they were ten and were better than this. And im not saying that this guy isnt good, but its not good enough for him to make it to college. You gottta have a hell of alot more than a knuckler. And the way he short-arms makes me wonder if his fastball even goes over 60. im 13 too and i do throw a knuckler. im not trying to be a douche but mine's better. i'll post a video with me throwing it.
Don't listen to haters...Your knuckler looks pretty sick to me! Threw 2 no-nos in HS using it as my primary pitch. Coach didn't like it for some reason, but he couldn't argue with results. Yes, you'll get lit up occasionally...all pitchers do. But just remember three things: Keep the ball as low as you can (better to miss low than high!) Practice. A lot. And work on locating your fastball (regardless of how slow it may be) for those situations when you get behind in the count. Good luck!
id bomb that but is pretty good if your a batter you need to practice on hitting curves and knuckles btw you have a good knuckle ball just a lil more speed and youll kill
You've got good form, your knuckler has good movement, but you seem to be short-arming yourself. That is a DANGEROUS way to pitch, as it will (if not fixed) completely ruin your arm. Knuckleballs are a fairly low-cost pitch (you could throw one for hours without stopping), but if that is the same wind-up and form you throw a fastball, or even curve ball, then you need to speak with your coach, or someone with pitching experience before you destroy your arm.
Very VERY good movement on the knuck for a kid your age. If you can consistently throw that and with your fastball develop a 3rd pitch you will see yourself on the bump in college there is no doubt. Try to keep it lower in the zone is my only suggestion due to as you getting older the hitters will crush elevated pitches. None the less, great job.
