You are such an inspirarion! I love how you play with different techniques and create beautiful works of art.It reminds me of when I was kid and played with art.Keep up the good work mate!
At 7:52 you say that "it's starting to split already". How is that? The base is acrylic, the paint you're putting on it is acrylic too, so how can it start splitting? I still don't get this technique.
Hey, im sorry if i got something totally wrong, but what tehnique did you use on the very first wo paintings? and if i do not have this artists tool to move the paint around, can i use something like a eazor blade? id like to know more about the first two pics...
thanks so much for this idea. I've got too many paintings I'm not happy with anymore and I found it far more interesting than painting them plane colour. I've got nearly same socks by the way ;)
WOW!!!!!Everytime Im up to shutdown my computer... I continue to say... Just one more....and I have been sitting here for hours... but it worths every minute.
I have some doubts myself, for example the spray paint you use is waterbase???because then you use acrylic on top, and as Morningwhispers asked you,can we use this techniques on a canvas????
thanks a lot for triggering out our creativeness!!!!!!!
I know you use the paper u mentioned however most artist use canvas .. could u pls mention .. in all ur videos if the techniques can be on canvas ..as I love ur ideas but am weary trying it on canvas ... thanks ahead .. I have been up for 3 hrs with a coffee and watching all ur videos love love love them
Very cool thanks for the info. By the way does any of the paint flake off later? I love your vids I just found them 2 days ago and have been watching almost 24hrs since. I had to join and subscribe because of you! Thanks
Yea they have that sort of thing at Michaels. It's patterned and textured card stock. I always buy them and t hey have so many different patterns and designs to work with , like you said glitter ones etc... I pay like $10.00 bux and get like 50 pieces with 25 different colors. I love your work btw!!! :)
1. LOVE Daft Punk...after over 10 years, still my favorite song!!
2. That paper is made from "DCWV". They dozens of pads of paper with every design imaginable if you ever decided to keep the background, and it is all just a thick.
3. I notice you use acrylics and spray most, do you every use oils? Would any of these techniques work with oils?
Interesting!!! I really loved the second paper... esp after adding the spray paint. And I've seen those papers at the hobby and craft place but I've never even thought about buying them (and instead paid for plain white untextured paper!!! duh!).
Agh, stuff to do and I want to watch the rest of your vids! Noooo!!!! Definitely subscribing!
I love both techniques what a great effect! Thank you, Gary, for sharing. I do have a question about a technique, but I'll email you. Really enjoy the videos ... keep 'em coming!
