@jstinch44 not to rain on your parade, but you guys got 2nd at a show in NJ at rutgers stadium to south brunswick (but only by like 2 points~which isn't a lot). but props on an amazing guard and percussion!
@prog10123 whoa there. i'm pretty sure it was judged fairly... but it shouldnt be about the winning. its the joy of doing our best and the love of playing that brought us (Trumbull) the golden opportunity to take first place. there is always a chance for anyone to win, so why dwell on the past? just get ready for next season...
@prog10123 I lol'd at this comment. We (Trumbull) won all season, as did the guard and percussion, (besides norwalk's home show, which we technically won anyway)
Every time i watch this show i cry. It is just such a good memory of what i worked for this year. i could not have had a better year with a better show. Thank you Keith Emerson!
Superb job, I'm so happy for everyone involved in putting together this splendid production. It's nice to hear 70's ELP or KE music being played here in the next century. I salute you all...bravo!
Wow!! No doubt everyone put in a lot of hard work, all the while taking classes & studying! It was so beautiful & peaceful watching the graceful FlagGirls! Go Bella & Lizi, so proud of you & all the dedication you have! Laurie in FL
What an amazing tribute to you...Jenia and I are speechless as well...
This one is for the grandkids!!!!
This band is amazing, thrilling and inspiring, what really good things young people are doing with my mentor's work...there are good young people today!!!
Fantastic! This piece is perfect for marching band - whoda thunkit? Anyone know who transcribed it? (btw, Keith if you're reading this, I've always been a huge ELP fan. Thanks for all the great tunes!)
@dkvw123 THSGEMB was honored to have had Michael Klesch arrange this with Thom Hannum and Colby Kuzontkoski arranging the percussion. The drill design was by Leon May.
Bravo to the THSGEMB! You have put your hearts, souls and hundreds of hours into Concerto, and it shows. How can you top this next year? Who knows, but you will.
still best show ever? YES.

I am beyond words for your success, that's why I write music. If you heard me sing you'd understand that I am so proud of you all!
Next time I'll get on the piano and make it spin around.

Keith Emerson must be a proud man today. This is another fine band of young musicians playing part of his Piano Concerto Number 1.
