This is genuinely an alright cover, the tone isn't far off, you're just slightly out of time in places and your vocals are far louder than the actual recording you're going off which is making some of your notes sound like they're peaking, which explains the really sharp notes you're getting sometimes. I think you have good tone and very good intonation, especially given the depth of the notes. I personally like the sound of your voice, and I think one of the only technical differences between yours and Dax's vocals is the near absence of vibrato in yours. It might be easier to achieve if you perform the song in a different key--nothing wrong with that. I also don't think that screaming makes any difference. Overall, good job! Haters gonna hate, and most don't know what they're talking about.
