  • great video for beginer snowboarders like me. thanks man !!

  • нихуя у меня не рулится кароче, может крепы криво стоят?

  • Kinda like skateboard turning, simple turning of course. I guess? :) If you cant see from the comment, i have never snowboarded, so far ;)

  • thank you

  • It's fine when you have a nice wide hill to setup a turn. How do you turn or stop on a narrow straightaway; even if it's not sloped too much?

  • Super helpful

  • I should've seen this before. Went on my butt a dozens of time... Bruises all over my body.

  • why didn't i watched this before i went down the black diamond.

  • @Sn1pezzz96 c.o.p. calgary??

  • Hello Dylan, That's very useful video!

    Thanks so much !!!!

  • wow i would have payed money to hear those 4 simple steps before snowboarding today, instead i wasted my time watching those expert village videos ffs

  • btw check out sierrasnowboard !! nice channel

  • Yeah vid is great. But in time when he sound like asking "is he a snowboard instructor at Killington VT" was funny.

  • omg that was actually helpful lol

  • hahaha that is so funky

  • about > expert village

  • I'll try this tomorrow! Thanks alot!

  • who saw that video when the guy is like for snowboarding u need a snowboard

  • 1 person fell when attempting this

  • very nice video man, helped me out alot!

  • Your instructions relly helps!!

  • i know why its 0 dislike!! :O

  • So I'm getting into snowboarding. My question is, are both of my feet supposed to be in the bindings?

  • @glaciusinferno i heard it helps

  • @glaciusinferno yes. the only time both arent in the bindings is when your getting on or off the ski lift.

  • @glaciusinferno...if this is a serious question, yes, when going down the hill. If you are on the lift or getting off the lift, only one foot. You should have a stomp pad on your board for when you have one foot out.

  • plz answer?! when i carve going forward( ur second turn) i try to push hard on my heels, and i flip forward? help?

  • @89CRAZYCRAZY do you mean that the tail of your board is in front now?if that's the case tht just means your holding your turn for too long. lighten up on your turns and it should help

  • @89CRAZYCRAZY...your body weight is projected too far forward. If you are turning on your heels you need to bend your knees and almost sit back to prevent you from falling forward. You also may be pushing too hard too fast on your heels causing the board to stop faster than your body, and your body shoots fwd. Same thing, lean back, hold your weight backwards behind the board.

  • He makes it sound a lot more difficult than it really is. Listen guys, if your a first time snowboarder, don't write all this crap down. It's pretty simple. Just get out there and try it.

  • No more fucking Expert Village. THANK YOU GUYS! :)

  • this vid explains it very well i couldnt stand the chick with the ginourmous googles anymore.

  • Thumbs up if you're riding goofy!!

  • just a quick question: On groomed trails, would I keep my weight on the front foot or back? I totally forgot since december :p...And for powder it is the back right?

  • This makes soooo much sense. This video helped me. I have been snowboarding for over a year and this video helped. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Is the guy goofy footed or am I just confused? Thanks

  • @Nufftastic

    why is it so important

  • @Nufftastic He is goofy footed. I ride that same way.

  • noice.

  • It took me going through 20 crap videos to get to this one which is perfect.

  • im learning on dry ski slope and it is SO steep - the second my board in pointing down the hill i just accelerate and eventually fall over!!

    any tips??

    :(

  • @darthmoo7 Yes, don't be so shit at it

  • @lifeshort

great thanks for that - very helpful

  • nice job , thanks man!

  • I was on a slope too steep and icy for me to comfortably try this, I could only falling-leaf down it. Any tips for getting comfortable with digging in toe-side?

  • @UncleChu stick to the bunny slopes until you shred those. there's nothing wrong with going slowly. in fact, moving slowly and easefully is the easiest way for you to feel like you're part of the mountain.

in addition: as you get better it's great to take a couple runs on bunny slopes to get used to the conditions and to work out any kinks in your body before you work with greater inclines, speed, carves, etc.plus, the kids learn from you. they learn that it's okay to keep riding there

  • Best turning lessons I've found! Straightforward and simple. No bulls**t. Keep it up.

  • thanks, that's what I needed

  • can't even tell u how many bad 'help' videos are on youtube especially expert village! thanks for finally bringing a real step by step to the tube guys

  • Thank you~!
