they do! Koji Kondo (not sure if thats the correct spelling of his name) does all the zelda music, and he does it with an orchestra!

well, yes it's awesome, but Kondo uses a synth keyboard, and synthesized effects to create the soundtracks.

I'm still waiting for Nintendo to FINALLY make a Zelda game with a live orchestra!!!! GAH.

well I mean not to record the music for the games.

all the music on the game is played in with a keyboard, unfortunately.

He may do a performance with it, but it's not on any games, that's my disappointment. I got all excited when I heard the trailer theme for TP, thinking TP would have live music, but it didn't!

I did some research whilst i was waiting for your reply, didnt found out about TP but i know in Super Mario Galaxy a live orchestra was used in game, maybe they'll move this onto zelda next!
