I totally agree. A true youtuber isn't a person who makes vids for the money not even the subscribers but because they love doing what they do. That was the main reason why they started making videos in the first place. In my opinion if a youtuber is stuck in that stressing situation where they don't know whether they should make vids anymore, they just have to watch their old vids. It's the nostalgia that will make them remember why they started making videos.

I'm not saying YouTube should be someone's full time thing unless you are consistent and successful (Woodysgamertag for example) but I think if you make good quality and spend time out of your day to entertain people, you should get paid for it. YouTuber's are entertainers just like song artists, actors, actresses etc. They all get paid to ENTERTAIN other people, why shouldn't people on YouTube? That's just my opinion. Kina Grannis' music video with the jellybeans is a perfect example of someone making a video purely out of passion to make something great. That video supposedly took her a year to make, all for just 3 minutes of a viewers life and not much more money than any of her other videos. But she did it simply because she wanted to make an amazing video. Which I thought was really awesome, and YT would benefit if more people were like that.

I myself make a some music related videos and they don't get an extremely large number of views and I don't make more than maybe $0.10 per week or something, but I honestly don't care. I find what I do enjoyable and the fact that maybe 10 thousand, a thousand, a hundred, ten, or maybe even just one person might find that video and enjoy it. If I have that one person who enjoys it, then that in and of itself makes my effort spent on the video worth it.
