  • Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable. - John F. Kennedy

  • This is one hellofa song and album. ,I used to watch the vids On Headbangers ball , I still have a HEADBANGERS BALL T-shirt= Anthrax edition, THIS is relavent today, checkout GRAND FUNK's Paranoid" witch cameout 6 months before Sabbath's and GFR"S " Sins a good man's Brother" it was played at the end of the movie "Law Abidding Citizen" 20 years before Queensryche All great jams with a serious meaning. 40 years ago I thought the GOV =Bullshit would have lightened up, Fuck Me, ITs WORSE !!

  • Fuck VEVO,Fuck SOPA,Fuck PIPA !!!

  • Great !

  • \m/

  • We need a revolution on youtube

    Get rid of vevo

I dont wanna see rihanna while listening to queensryche

  • I'm tired of all this bullshit they keep selling me on TV about the terrorists' plans.

  • To all people willing to make a positive change ...I wish you an inspiring and creative 2012! To all those who consider it a hard job finding their innnermost positive energy...I wish you the same!!

  • 20+ years later, everything is as true as ever, (except for the mullet, lol, even though Geoff could still rock that that cut).

One of the best albums ever!

  • Revolution calling. What great country did evolve from revolution? Soviet Union?

  • @Grodel40 Sometimes revolution is not always a gory battle of needless spoiling of human lives, my friend...it may be an inner force working worldwide in your mind, sometimes you only have be open for it...all luck wished and granted for a new exciting year!!!

  • @Grodel40 nop my friend revolution first of all must in everyone's mind.WE NEED TO WAKE UP man . I'm not talking about a bloody one like the October's one nevertheless it may be necessary. Democracy is one of human's major conquests and the governments who care about nothing else than power and our money are abusing it every single day. Remember they wish us to be sheep now intelligent beings .That's why music like that won't be supported by the media. We need to understand that WE have the power

  • @pan0s95 I'm so very glad to hear the general public referred to as "Sheep" by someone other than me. This dumbing down of Americans has been going on for far too long. Thank you for touting the cause. People get into their comfort zones, and it's to the detriment of us all. You're right, WE HAVE THE POWER! The status quo don't want us to know that, but what if we do?

  • THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING

  • is not my thing too rock

  • @1991burzumaske LOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLLOL

But seriously, if you're going to troll, at least do it with effort.

  • Really? Comments about being nice to our dear government, and make sure to clean up after a nice day of demonstrating, are beyond stupid. (How can you miss the point?) This is why we the people may all end up slaves to the powerful and greedy and live in slums. I'm sure future generations, if they will even be educated, will make sure your ignorance will be remembered. Revolution called, and you got on your "device" and searched "how to treat constipation"

  • never read as much shit wot about the music?

  • @1991burzumaske you are a dopped,

  • Fuck Vevo, fuck these ads. bullshit.

  • Hell yeah really great song to stick to the people who have been sticking it to us all these years !!!!!

  • I would like to see Ron Paul, The Occupy Movement and The Tea Party all join together to organize a national march / "revolution" day in the next two months!!

  • @Aggieland8 The Capitol Building in Austin, TX would be a great site!!!

  • Amazing how this song is just as relevant today as it was years ago when it first came out. The premise is dead on.

  • Occupy the Federal Reserve!

  • Greatest band to come out of the pacific north west !!!

  • Hail From Brasil, its unbeliaveble how this song looks actual and fresh.

    resume the world today perfectly

  • 2 people didnt hear tho revolution calling

  • wow really bad quality

  • The occupy movement, on the other hand, wants MORE government hand outs and Socialism. True capitalism, without corporate corruption and greed, is the only way to a prosperous country and economy!!

You should be occupying Penn Avenue too and stop carrying the kool aid bottles for your liberal politicians!

Stop destroying our wonderful cities and move your protest to DC (without the rioting and crapping N fornicating in public!).

  • @Aggieland8

I see you fail to understand the premise behind the Occupy movement. These protesters don't want hand outs. They want money out of politics....they don't want corporate interests able to buy politicians and legislation that supports their ability to rape the people and resources of this nation.

It is also about fairness. Why bail out banks, automakers, etc., and leave the little guy to twist in the wind? "Trickle down theory" has been conclusively debunked.

  • @ftfisher4x4 I agree with a lot of the Occupy movement's points and The Tea Party's points. To be ALL in the camp of one of them is ignorant. Both sides are fed up with "The Status Quo".

  • USA Tea Party Member here:

Hey, all of you dirty, stinky, anarchist "occupy" people out there.....Can't you see the media is pitting y'all against the conservative Tea Party movement?? Neither one of us trust Big Government or Wall Street.

The big difference between us is The Tea Party depends on self-reliance and hard work. Plus we have the police and military on our side. The majority of them don't trust Big Government either.

  • @Aggieland8 Yes but you're a bunch of corrupt, gun-toting retards.

  • @Aggieland8 "Hey, all of you dirty, stinky, anarchist "occupy" people out there......" Interesting way to reach out to people you're trying to win over, douchebag.

  • @r10t5qu4d Yes. That was a little harsh. All I'm saying is they need to go home and clean up once in awhile and keep the parks and city hall properties clean.

  • My all time favorite Queensryche tune... one of the best songs EVER!!!

  • the needle lies. good song too.

  • occupy the world. revolution is here!

  • what 22 years ago... now you see what the f*ck they were talking about? Anybody Listening? and who is topping the charts today? is this evolution?

  • "Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?" There's a revolution calling you!!!!

What a perfect portrayal of our communist government.

  • PERFECT song for the war against the GOP!

  • This came out in 1988...20+ years ago they sang for Occupy...I'm quite sure it's been going on for much longer. How and what will the change look like? When?

    Somethings got to give.

  • @GarrettEvans I don't know what it will look like either, my friend, but I know one thing for sure: when you make the change in your own way.....you can see some shape already! And this is not only by being out there on the streets: when you start to think otherwise than the moment before you did that, that is your contribution already...you will see that the acts to be taken will follow, you only have to REALISE it, completely, body and mind! Veritas vos liberabit!

  • This song has never had more meaning than today...

  • when they first came out i didint like them, mainly because tate was ugly as hell.now they are 1 of my favorites(tate still ugly)

  • @tomterry1528 To answer in line of the immortal Neil Young: "Hey man, ugly is my style!" :-)

  • I hate it when I see Justin Bieber on the left of the video :(

  • Dr.X made an account to dislike this

  • @Garfield8595 lol and 1 other guy didn't hear the revolution calling

  • @Garfield8595 What's wrong with you?! Are you the 1%?!

  • This should be the theme song to Occupy Wall Street.

  • @worldman29isback No, this should not be the theme song to Occupy Wall Street because OWS isn't doing anything about what they want. Holding signs in the street isn't going to stop anything. If it does do something, it'll be to force the government into turning this country into a nanny state close to what V for Vendetta had. They're not stopping corporate greed, they're not changing anything, they're just trendy hipsters with signs smoking clove cigarettes and spreading anti-semitic views.

  • @worldman29isback Exactly what I was thinking!! This song is even more relevant today than when it was written!

  • @worldman29isback Im working on it. lol

  • @worldman29isback Why? OWS people aren't revolutionaries. They're idiots that are pissed off at the wrong thing due to mostly their own stupidity. This song is about an actual revolution.

  • @worldman29isback I highly agree and fuck Sopa! We are human,we have rights fucks want to try to control us fuck that! Revolution Calling! \m/

  • queensryche are smart and articulate, so screw all those wanna be G.E.D non graduate piece of *****. I don't need a hand out from someone who actually tried to better themselves and it actually happened

  • @fucklips222 Cool story, bro.

  • @worldman29isback More like Ron Paul. :-D

  • @worldman29isback You are so right!

  • @worldman29isback You are so very right, perfect anthem!

  • I used to trust the media to tell me truth

    - tell us the truth!

But now I've seen the payoffs everywhere I look

who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

More truth in this than in anything I've read for quite a while

  • when this gets played every day 24/7 people may finally wake up

  • the white house is not america. the people and the land are america. All the white house is and D.C. is, is where the fat men with the money work

  • Operation: Mindcrime is the ultimate Rock/Metal album of all time, hands down. The whole thing is an opera with a story behind it, songs flowing into one another.... Sorry to say that never again in my lifetime will there be another album ( or DVD ) like it again.

  • London calling

  • People should really go get Operation: Mindcrime and listen to the whole thing in order before commenting too much on one song from it. The songs out of context of the story lose import. It's a brilliant album telling a very interesting story. If you happen to remember the era the songs were written about and understand a lot of what was going on then they have even more value.

  • wake up greece in a few days you will stay in the road

  • Join the Freethinking Peoples Party on Facebook. Where this song is our Anthem. Speak the Word

  • Name me the man that dislikes this one and I will show you either a deaf or a DUMB one!

  • To be honest I really like Queensryche but I do not so much their prog/power stuff. Yet this album is one of my favs. Don't know why, I am stuck to it every time I hear it.

  • I want the name and address of that 1 dislike, gonna blow them away with Revolution Calling blarring from my speakers

  • "I used to think only America's way, way was right. But now the holy dollar rules everybody's life. Gotta make a million doesn't matter who dies."

That lyric has more meaning today than ever. Great song, great lyric, even better album. This is one of the greatest albums ever written. Period.

  • Start to finish. The greatest rock-opera crime story of my time. Hands down never tires and I wish they would make a film of it!

  • Queensryche has become popular in London?

  • RE VO LU TI ON

  • 0 dislikes? Maybe theres hope yet!

  • Best band ever in my opinion, awesome live too,QR knows what's up

  • It looks like 0 people who have watched this movie have had bad taste in music

  • Great song from a great album. Scary how true the lyrics are still to our current situation. Ron Paul 2012!

  • @themoor666 Ha! That's funny. That's what made me think of the song again. I saw them in Anaheim in like ?'90? (Empire tour) and I couldn't understand why they had a band like Warrior Soul (HATED THEM) open for them. I didn't realize at the time how political they were. (Or how right Warrior Soul was with their message, albeit they still suck. ::G::)

  • @themoor666 Ha! That's funny. That's what made me think of the song again. I saw them in Anaheim in like ?'90? • great tune.

  • I caught Queensryche live at Bradford, UK during their tour to promote Empire (a bit commercially shite) but they played the 'Operation Mindcrime' album in its entirety, with added hospital sister wearing a rather sexy (IMO) veil. Fucking brilliant! (PS: I believe the magic mushrooms my friend and I had taken beforehand helped a great deal in appreciating the concept of the show. Wow!

  • Sad that the theme in Operation Mindcrime had no effect on the world.

Same old same old 20+ years later and the stakes are higher.

  • Epic!!

  • REvolution!! Yeah!!

  • 281 likes, 0 dislikes

first video with more then 30000 views i saw without dislikes :D

  • @PoglavnikPavelic nooooooo there's one dislike now

  • The lyrics really make you think... I bought this when it came out and got the meanings then, but it's all different now.

  • revolution calling youuuuuu!!!!!

  • Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

  • Try to share this on facebook... it doesn't work! This video is banned!

  • @nevaRydaL Join the Freethinking Peoples Party on Facebook. Where this song is our Anthem. Speak the Word

  • QR was right till now holy dollar controls our lives...

  • IS SOMETHING FROM NOTHING..

  • I'M SERIOUS THIS VIDEO FROM QUEENSRYCHE NEEDS MORE VIEWS!!!! 38,504 VIEWS AIN'T NOTHING.. 300,000,000 VIEWS IS

  • Intelligent Heavy Metal. After all these years, the concept still pertinent and relevant today as ever before. No words, simply fantastic!! Heavy Metal 80's RULES!!!

  • USA: QR tried to warn you...now live with the consequences...

  • @BreakTheMindPrison Sure amazing how several metal bands warned us of these current times.....Almost freeky now looking back....Time to warp back to the 80's and fix it...

  • no dislikes, brilliant!

  • Do they still do concert's with the entire Mindcrime album being played?

  • seeing "Operation Mindcrime" live in concert, in its entirety, is an unbelievable experience. Queensryche, IMO, was a band that never got the respect they deserved. Geoff Tate has an amazing vocal range, and HE CAN ACTUALLY SING!!! They were one of the best, if not THE best bands I ever had the privilege of seeing.

  • How does one go about starting a revolution?

  • @W0BN1AR Throw a rock at Obama

  • @kirktribble Or a shoe for continuity's sake

  • lol

  • F'n GREAT SONG/VIDIO !!!!

  • this is definately what america needs

  • Bring back the old days of hard rock and heavy metal music like this, no the crap they have today, although some of it is good, it will never compare to the rock of the 80's.

  • I'm with ya brother!!!!

  • This music was written for what we are going through today! We were warned but no one listened and worse no one stopped the WAR MACHINE when we could... it simply marches on and we lose our freedom one law at a time!

    REVOLUTION

You'll see 12 to 18 months or close, this is happening right now! MASSIVE CHANGE IS HERE!!!

The Media is lying to us!!!

  • @crazymike44 o rly

  • Pretty relevant for today!!

  • substitute "terrorist plan" for "communist plan" and this song still just about says it.

  • @MrJerryrigged1 IMHO, since the horrific events in Norway the past week, we can safely say that no ideology is free from fanaticism, whether it is religious, philosphical or political: we should rather strive worldwide to destroy the egoistic 'holier than thou'-attitude through our own small examples: social work, inspiring creativity by recycling ideas and exchanging them..if carried out by an ever growing mass, these things would REALLY be the final blow to a mortally wounded old world system!

  • How many music videos did this album have?

  • still got it.thanks for video men.

  • Definitely THE song for the spring of 2011.....revolution of the human mind is spreading, speak the word: man is finally entering the consciousness of its full capacity for a better world!!

  • my song AGAIN!! EGYPT TO MADISON!!!!!!

  • Then google up the definition of "concept album".

  • I never heard of an album that tells a story

  • @22CSX23 google "concept album"

  • Next time in any film in a hospitalscene listen to the page, hamilton and blair are called all the time ;)

  • This video is this 1st video of Queenryche's - "VIDEO MINDCRIME", VHS video that came out back in 1988, after the release of the ALBUM - "OPERATION MINDCRIME". It has been over 22 years, and I am still addicted to this album and that videos that were produced for it, after it's release, and the concerts that followed.

If you would like to veiw all 6 videos from - "Video Mindcrime", in order, go to my YT Channel, @ rduquet

  • i say 80's is the golden age of music, too bad i didnt lived through it:(

  • Who else noticed how the very end sounds kinda like they're saying "Dance Dance Revolution"?

  • I recommend googling up Gulen Charter Schools, obama muslim adviser gulen, tucson weekly hidden agenda,.....forignors fill rank of charter schools spead the word. 150 charter schools ran by this group and growing..........

  • @ohohmrbill1 I recommend that you get laid and chill the fuck out.

  • Same story today. Preachers are the same greedy thiefs, but instead of being scared of Commies now it's being scared of muslims and the chinese.

  • This has to be the song for the Zeigeist movement...

  • Im sure liking this will get me on the "no fly" list, but what the hell right?

  • Brill album, brill concept. I'll use this in a riot to piss off the politicians

  • I actually still have the VHS tapes of Mindcrime, and the poster , I also had a copy of the jacket he wore during the tour, but it was stolen sadly. as for me Mindcrime is my favorite. Although Promised Land would be the soundtrack to my life. Everyone has one.

  • Absolutely, all the modern crap on the radio and sold in stores is without point and empty, It's all about getting ass and rollin and profiling, Sad day in America

  • @MrRavenBlackthorne

i am pretty sure the "Top Men" were threatened by music like this, so they shaped the future society to be what it is today unfortunately.......or i m just speaking out of my ass lol

  • The album was sueperior in intelligence.

  • great song

  • I don't think Mindcrime will ever NOT be relevant.

  • Geoff sure did have a vision of the future when he wrote this.

  • Ive never head of Queensryche, Untill Now! All thanks To Makemebad35 :) x

  • Back in 1988 or 89, I bought the actual full length video: Operation MindCrime. It was on VHS Tape. I wish I still had it, It was incrediable! Like a full lenght movie from start to end, each song on the album leeds into the next! Just great! I wish some one would post the whole video on You Tube!

    rduquet

  • @rduquet

i totally remember that! i also had a crazy box set called Operation Livecrime or something like that...cd and vhs tape of the whole album played live. rad.

  • @peyoteugly My wife had that one too,,it was called "Operation Livecrime, The Box Set", it was GREAT! But the one I am refiring to came out in 1988 or 89, with the original Operation Mindcrime album, it was called "Video Mindcrime".

    rduquet

  • ooooh yeah! i had that one, too!

i'm gonna go look in my boxes of old stuff in the basement to see if i still have it!

  • Let me know if you find it. I've been trying to reconstruct it on my channel page, but I can't find all of the actual videos that were on the original "VIDEO MINDCRIME".

    rduquet

  • My wife, (who was my "HEAD BANGIN " girlfreind at the time), and I, saw the "Live Crime Tour" twice that year. I beleive it was 1991.

    rduquet

  • i still have a copy. it is really great to watch every once in a while...

  • rodgilbert1977, Do you have - "Video Mindcrime" or "Operation LiveCrime"?

    rduquet

  • video mindcrime...bought it at a sam goody around 1989.

  • Rod, do you still have it?

    rduquet

  • I sawa this concert when they opened for Metallica on the AndJustice for All tour... the QR show was identical to the album from beginning to end... fucking brilliant!!!!

  • I'll never tire of this album. Their concepts are even more pertinent today as ever before! Brilliant!
