  • Woulda been better with some shots of the coasters. Other than that good video.

  • @xrune6 thank you! I will get some more shots of coasters when I go back :)

  • is it still there

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Dolly Wood(:

  • I hate going in the winter! It was so cold last time I went. But the lights and decorations always makes me want to go. In November I watched them put up the Christmas tree. It was really beautiful! I want to go back in December sometime! Maybe this year!

  • @fearthecoconut I hope I can get there this December too

  • @fearthecoconut Well, if Dolly buys Oprymills mall and tears it down to build a new theme park she has to name it Opryland USA and build it the way it was with remade rides identical to the ones that were there.

  • Brilliant video well filmed, looks pretty busy.Thinking of going next year for christmas is there much open at christmas time?

  • @eaglevp Yes, Christmas time is happening at and near Dollywood

  • You didn't stop by the Hickok compound? lol... Great vid!

  • How r u guys only wearing sweat shirts, and some T-shirts in december!!!!! in Illinois u have to wear like 10 layers of clothes!!!

  • Yes, the weather is much better down here.. @MaZa1319

  • @AskAsheville yeah it i heard

  • thunder head is the best thumbs up if you agree

  • i love dollywood go every weekend

  • So, where's Dolly, dagnabit??

  • Great video...me and my family just got back from our first visit there-we loved it! We can't wait to go back for the Christmas lights!

  • @poetrygal1 Dollywood is a quick hop from Asheville, so great for the kids! Thx 4 the comment!

  • Love the video AND Dollywood! (We have season passes). I am going tommorow and it is supposed to be pretty cold. I hope that most of the rides are open! I can't wait to see the lights also!

  • Thanks for the compliment. I have a season pass too and hope to get there before the end of the year!!

  • You're welcome! I think I am going in late December also! I am getting excited for tommorow after watching this video. It will be my 15th time this year to Dollywood tommorow! Haha!

  • How many rides where open during the christmas event?

  • I think that most of them were open at the time.

  • Me too, Christmas is awesome in Dollywood. Thanks for the comment!

  • I think they were, we were just on a little ones excursion so had to fall back, lol

  • wow sorry but orlando (DISNEY) is way betteerrr! the only thing i like about dollywood is the water park!

  • "Asheville is only about 1 1/2 hours away from Dollywood and it is much more affordable to frequent there than going off to Disney World" Disney World better be better. I was talking about the convenience of it being so close to Asheville for quick great trips. Thanks CG.

  • yeah its probably closer or more offordable but if you want like a better trip and stuff and maybe more things to do i would suggest disney or universal or something like that. but i know in this economy no one can really afford that anymore!

  • Mmm Dollywood! I've been going there for YEARS! I live about 2 hours away from it, I got A LOT during the summer, almost EVERY weekend, it's an amazing place. I just love the feel of the part, the musi, mmm just a great place to go. Right now I'm going on the 16th, can't wait to ride all the rollarcoasters!!

  • Hey thanks for showing us this great video. My friend has been there and I can't wait to come there someday.

  • not bad, personally i wouldnt pay to get in there to ride a dam ferris wheel or a merry go round, thats why theres county fairs. But i dont go to fairs either lol I go for the peace in gatlinburg and the cabins in the mountains

  • dollywood is AMAZING! i love it. i went for my 15th birthday last june. i am a huge dolly fan and she is so incredibly humble, it's great she built such a place where people can go and enjoy themselves. i might be going back this summer. can't wait! thanks for the video, it brought back some of my memories. ;)

  • Dolly didn't build Dolywood. It was built by NC real estate developer Gorver Robbins as "Rebel Railroad" in 1962. Dolly had no affiliation with the property until 1986.

  • Great info T, Thank you!

  • Your welcome!

  • and Grover Robbens did the rebble railroad as a sister park to tweetsie railroad home of the last ET&WNC locomotive #12.

  • i didnt like dolly wood to much, there werent enough rides, but it is great for little kids, there is so much to do, if your more of a teen, splash park is so much fun!

  • Dollywood is a great place for the family

  • I know right, like the perfect balance, Dolly is not shoved in your face every 5 feet, nice...

  • It sure is! It's my favorite themepark. One of my favorite rides is the Rockin' Roadway cars. Since I'm handicapped with cerebral palsy, they let me get on rides first thing. I also have a friend who is a musician in the Kinfolks Show Band at the Back Porch Theater.
