Well, here's another irrational tearjerker. What is the sense in this? He was a so-so good actor--the woods are full of them. He accidentally killed himself (it was an accident, right?). This is by FAR the best Ledger tribute I've seen to date. I LOVE this song. I first heard it on a Chris Farley tribute, & adored it ever since.

A day well spent, my dear. I'm starting off a brand new playlist with it, called "Only the Good."

But Ledger wasn't just a good actor. He was a GREAT actor, and IMO could have had a 50-year career on a par with Olivier. He was that amazing. And only 28 at the END of it.

That considered, he may have been the best ever. A devastating loss.

When I first heard of Heath's death, it was as a bulletin notice at the bottom of the tv screen at about 8:40am on wednesday 23rd of january here in Australia. We are at least 12 hours ahead, but to me it will always be the '23rd'. But most importantly, he is loved.

To me, Heath is everywhere. He is in the sunset over the beach.
