How are we ever going to catch up over here? Obviously a ton of fun and some real good goal tending for one team. Also just watched the American football video and was really impressed with the speed and coordination exhibited. That was a full contact game!

Hi Harry. The Western and Japanese approaches are so completely different that 'catch up' doesn't really apply. Each does really well at different aspects of robot research and development. In robotics like this, the Japanese excell, but are poor at some things the Westerners do extremely well, and vice versa.
