the standard of acting is evident in the way things are said here aswell, if u play the video and dont look at it the fucking shittiness, the inability to capture the moment still seeps through, they have to work on emulating the state of mind of these characters and since they were written by hunter, the state of mind of these characters are probably, lets say, different to the state of mind of these actors

It wont be anything like fear and loathing. First of all, Depp will be playing Paul Kemp, not raoul duke or even Hunter Thompson. True,Kemp is a character somewhat based on hunter, but keep in mind that its the pre-gonzo hunter. Secondly, the style of the novel is completely different to fear and loathing. its a very traditional straightforward text.
