sadly, I can't remember if I still have a 29646 anymore. If I do, it's out in the shop waiting it's turn at restoration...the models shown are(left to right)-19666,71666,29648,8" Seabreeze 3140-B, Jr.(also the one in the "dishes" video), and the 10" Seabreeze 3250-B(the 16" 29648 is perfect for drying the carpet after a cleaning)
Mine's the brass bladed one. I think it's a bit older than yours. I didn't do the best job restoring it as I didn't really have the proper paint, but who knows; maybe I can do that later! I am still thinking about whether or not to paint the blades gold like they would've been originally...
Great looking bunch of Emersons you have there. Thought it neat that you fired them all up at once in the video. I have several Emersons that I love and use often - - a late 40's 12" , an early 50's 16", a wonderful late 40's 16" pedestal model ( bought new by family and kept ever since ), and a mid-30's 6 blader that I found in a junk shop ( runs great, base a bit rusted around edges and needs new felt on the bottom ). Grew up with fans as the "a/c" of the day and love them still.
awesome. amazing how many "fans" of fans there are! did you know that there's also an antique fan collector club? hundreds of members-including myself. they also put out a really nice bi-monthly newsletter(come to think of it, "newsletter" doesn't begin to describe how wonderful they are.I say this, because they are nice enough they could probably be sold as magazines in bookstores!)I you want to know more let me know
how many ya got so far? whats your favorite brand(that would be a hard question to answer for me, because in the kitchen I use the six blade Emerson, and when I sleep, I run a Westinghouse)most of them in the kitchen/main tv room, are Emersons, but there is also a Westinghouse and 2 Mathes Coolers in here as well. So in here(I spend mosta my time in the kitchen/tv room), there are 9
I don't think it's been since last fall when I found a Trojan ceiling fan. I think I used to have a "Jack Frost" seems like mine was brown wrinkle finish, with a very heavy base
I'll post videos of my Knapp Monarch fans soon. One of mine is a pedestal fan, in original brown wrinkle finish. It's a very art deco looking machine.
Look at 'em go..just like a LeMans start!

I'm also an AFCA Member, I've belonged to the club since 2005. I've been a fan nut for as long as I can remember.

Well, let's see.
Right now I've got:
Four Emerson 77646 fans (three table models and one pedestal).
Five Knapp Monarch "Jack Frost" fans.
Four Signal "Cool Spots" (two are in my videos)
Two GE's, an early 40's 12" Vortalex (black and polished aluminum) and a 60's vintage Quiet Fan (OSHA guard).
One 1980's Galaxy 12" Oscillating Fan in Tan/Brown.
Do you post on the AFCA Forums?

Nice collection of Emersons. They made good fans back in the day.
