I hope people will watch this film and do their own research on the Nanking massacre. I have many young Japanese friends who still deny the fact that these atrocities happened. It's frightening that they are still taught in school and from the older generation that such incidents were not possible because Japanese people are incapable of perpetrating such acts.

I think the Japanese government's intention of faking history in their textbook is because they need to generate that nationalism in their youth, they are already not allowed to have an army therefore they have to keep that nationalism alive to inject a sense of superiority within the Japanese people.
