He would make the windmill motion AFTER he made the save, and as you can see Fleury does it AS he is making the save.

Fleury is amazing, and if you look at 0:41 you can see he trips Gonchar's skate to make the save and that just shows how much luck plays apart in goaltending, not saying that skill isnt important but luck is still very important tool for a goalie
