  • if that was a michigan players stick it wouldv been called highsticking.

  • Why does they film like j18/j20 games in America? i dont get it, is it alot of ppl who actually turns on the TV just to watch this kind of games or does the gov pay the tv teams to film this?I dont mean that they are bad or anything im just curious :) In Sweden we have 1 championship where they film and its called "Tvpucken its once a year" but seems like its alot more TV here :) greetings from Sweden.

  • @Mmkey1 University sports are actually very popular in America. Gridiron football and basketball are almost as popular as the professional leagues. Other sports not so much, but they do make it on TV sometimes, usually during the playoffs.

  • its hockey..it happens..give him a break

  • (Note-there is no offense to your arena or your team or your school) don't you think that with all the championships Michigan has won, and with the new record of attendance at the big house, that the Michigan Wolverines could have a much larger arena than the Yost, like something around 10,000, because they clearly have enough fans to do that? I love the Badgers and love the kohl center, but i wonder why popular teams like the gophers or wolverines don't have a large arena like the kohl center?

  • @74blackout17 hey there blackout. I think the main reason is (at least at UM) because of space constraints. I'm sure the current University President/AD would love to expand or update Yost, but the athletic campus is already so cramped with different fields (baseball, softball, field hockey, football practice, etc) and fieldhouses that it is literally impossible to build onto the arena without disturbing a bunch of other facilities. Go Blue! (AlthoughI love Wisconsin hockey chants, but shhh.)

  • @PKwinsomee 1) hahahaha my youtube names retarded hahahah 2) oh, that sucks bc a great school like Michigan deserves a 15,000+ (NHL sized) arena, I hope UM will find sumthing in the very near future, I have very much respect for the school, the school's athletics, etc. :) 3) our chants are very fun, thank you :) I like UM's power play where its like "see ya, cunt bitch,..." hahahaha

  • @74blackout17

The Kohl center is designed for basketball.

The Gophers average about 10,000 a game, so a full house still sounds like a full house.

I'm not sure about Michigan though.

  • @crush40fan101 no, it was designed for both, yes it sounds like a full house, but with more people= louder noise, Michigan apparently built their facilities too close so they cannot expand

  • by the way its own goal not self goal just saying isnt ment mean

  • This was a high sticking why was it counted as a goal? His stick was above the cross bar when he knocked it in.

  • this is why good defense is good bad defense kills

  • Because?!?!?!?!?! BU SUCKS!!!!!!

  • sorry, but no matter what kindda sport, your playing it is called an 'own goal' :)

  • stupid

  • too bad BU won the national championship

  • @b17manning Well depending on the year of this game which i am unsure of, BC won it in 2008 and MSU won it in 2007 so thats impossible since the video was posted in 2007. Boston University actually won the championship in 2009

  • MEEchigan...

americans cant say their states right. Fail

  • @SoulbringerWoWFFXI I was about to comment saying the same thing and I scrolled down, you beat me to it.

  • Umm.... You know he's referencing Bob Ufer who's imitating Fielding Yost, right? Wiki on Ufer: "He had many familiar so-called 'Uferisms,' such as referring to Michigan as "Meeechigan" (a reference to how legendary Michigan coach Fielding H. Yost used to pronounce the name)" Yost was from West Virginia originally, so maybe that's an accent?

  • @SoulbringerWoWFFXI Bob Ufer Michigan's old football colo commentator for the radio network used this. It's a legendary way to say it.

  • fail

  • @StefmanSkejt96 the goal was ok dude, he was going to get it before the player touched it

  • haha, that's was the worst goal to see.. ever

  • HIGHSTICKING!!!

  • that was crap i hope it never ever ever ever happens again to BU

  • Regardless of when this happened, as a student at Miami University (in Ohio), anything bad (on the ice, non injury) that happens to The B.U. hockey team is great to see... Yeah, I might still be a little bit upset by the outcome of last years national championship game.

  • me too

  • Nice job Miami defense...nice job.

  • OMG that was our worst year with Bennet I was there and I heard Hail to the victors probs 20 times between the football game and the hockey game. Lol but redemption season was in 08-09 when we won! F*** em' up F*** em' up BC SUCKS!

  • that happened to me one time, lol it really sucks

  • that was sick goal but on wrong net

  • yea wtf

  • whyd he say it like that....btw royals hockey Long Island?

  • oh hahaha.. and no, richmond royals.

  • o true

  • Nice!

  • shit, you gotta feel for him, that must be embarrasing as hell

  • haha your the worst

  • The worst thing about that goal was the announcer.

  • oh god, it smells soooo good! jokes jokes ye spamings gotta stop

  • HAHA NICE ONE

  • LOL

  • Michigan helmets are gay. But they are really fucking good.

  • Michigan always scores the awesomest goals dont they

  • 4 - 2 MEESHIGAN!

  • Actuallypinia95 that isn't 100% correct the puck has to be below the crossbar to be hit back in or it is highstick bit you can hit it in before it hits the ice many goals have been scored this way. Don't dispute rules before you getting a reffing license

  • I actually have a reffing license. i might have been a bit confused but u get my point... I hope

  • Oh... Colby Cohen...

  • 4-2 MEEchigan?

  • WTF! lol

  • fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff falling

  • The rule is that it is only a hightstick if the offensive team hits it into the net from above the crossbar GO BLUE

  • his own team high sticked it though, it's like if own team mate kicks puck in same net. i don't completely remember the rule but isn't it something like play isn't stopped after a high stick unless a person of the same team touches the puck?? i think he just got unlucky in that situation =P

  • his stick was above the crossbar when he made contact wit da puck officaily it shud have been no goal but ref was stupid

  • no your stupid you fug if the ref did call high stick on him another player must touch the puck in order for the high stick to be called not then same guy

  • lol thankyou =]

  • umm the rule is that the play doesn't stop till another player on the same team touches the puck after a high stick, no one touched the puck but him after he high sticked it... and i do play ice hockey, maybe you play roller i don't know the rules for that but this is ice =]

  • no the same guy can touch it but it has to be back on the ice

  • *cant

    my bad

  • dude your retarted don't say somthin when your wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

it would have been no goal if the offensive player touched it.

  • dude pinia95 are you dumb do you even know what your talking about

  • actually i have a reffing license so i know what im talkin bout

  • that shouldnt count he hit it above his shoulders than hit it again below his shoulders which shouldve caused a high stick call and resulting in a faceoff in the Boston zone

  • you're right

  • your wrong look in the nhl and IIHF rules where most rules are the high stick can only be called if another player for his own team touch the puck but he was the only person to touch it

    therefore goals stands

  • mhm yahh that is right.

  • I thought if the stick was higher than the crossbar, it didn't count?

  • not if its against your own team

  • Wut a Retard!!!

  • M GO BLUE
