  • u serious???? it's just shark. no prob

  • @bananamon01 It's a shark that was buried and then after 3 months its freaking rotten and you eat it. No prob. It's like eating a zombie.

  • Some people like to stick it up their asses before eating it. You can't really tell the difference anyway!

  • just shut up and it eat it you silly assholes.

  • I make hakarl of the laughing girl.

  • And after they ate it, they each gave a big sloppy french kiss to that chick who's laughing...

  • The guy at 1:41 is a true vicking.

  • does it taste like grana cheese???bleah

  • I love Icelandic Hákarl (shark) and Brennivín.

  • the hakarl even made it smell of ammonia when i passed wind :(

    Brennivin was nice though

  • @joikrs

    Are u retarted?

  • I was quite eager to try it, and i did. It's bad, very very bad...

  • I thought it was quite nice the second time I had it.

I'm not sure why people make such a fuss...

I lived in Iceland for a little less than a year and I used to have it quite often.

  • Man, I tasted it a week ago... the second piece I couldn't even keep in my mouth, I tried to imagine it as tasty, but it didn't work; it just made me vomit.

The smell alone is something like poo mixed with a really strong smell of bad fish, and the bad thing is it tastes exactly like it smells. Then the greasy, slithery texture doesn't help either.

The flavour and smell stays with you a long time, even brennivin ( the traditional icelandic brandy) doesn't really help.

    Nice experience though!!!

  • it doesn't taste bad at all, only the smell puts you off it. it's not bad at all.

  • @jeepie32 the hákarl is a food witch gets better when you eat it more often. most people hate it when they try it for the first time but I know some people who have gotten used to the taste and like it. I´m from Iceland and I cant get enough of hákarl.

  • @darkmetaly It's always interesting to experience the extreme differences in taste. Next time I visit Iceland I will make sure the try-out will be with some people who actually like it. That will probably help:-) I guess it's something you have to get used to, just like those special french cheeses... I love those, but I hated them, if you know what I mean:-)

  • @jeepie32 I know what you mean I love eating those cheeses two specialy with grapes and salty crackers.

  • @darkmetaly oh shut upp dark

  • @TheDagur mind your own business little brother.

  • It's actually not that bad....well I am prone to odd things and like fermented foods...LOL

  • @djsiryn1

disgusting to eat fermented food....it stinks and tastes like poo or shit!

  • icelanders are the greatest.

  • "it's really firm"

    "that's what she said"

You get 5 starts just for that

  • ahh I love icelandic scnaps

  • i heard this thing is supposed to taste horrible....cant imagine it's really THAT bad

  • it actually is :D

When i first tried it, for a moment i felt im gonna collapse on the floor...because i was like in a fever...with 43c temperature :D
