Multiplayer module is in the works. For now it provides the best AI ever created for a PC sim with even more than hundred aircrafts in the air! You have to see this for yourself to believe. It sometimes looks like bee swarms!

this game should be asked as 128mb or more of video card, if you have only 128 could be that the board is not compatible with the game.I hope this will serve

the version 2.08 I think it is to play on internet. i think the 2.08 it`s a patch .Another good game is il-2 forgotten battles sturmovik, look at some videos of IL-2 in youtube

You really need a PC Joystick and preferably PC rudder Pedals too.

Also Track I.R. comes in handy as well.

You can get by with just a nice joystick at first.

i was replying to someone who asked if its possible to play with mouse and keyboard,he didnt asked if it feels like a sim if he do so.

i think he will have a reason why he wants to play it with mouse,perhaps he has no space for a joystick or he wants to play it with a notebook in his holidays somewhere in a hotelroom.

whatever his reason is for asking if its possible to play with mouse,he surely dont care if ppl might think its not the "comunitys" aproved way to play:)

Believe me, mate, there's a lot of people who believe that joystick is not needed and that's the reason I replied ;) It's particularly a case of former-consolers and not very "technical" blokes.

i cant find any keyassignment for cyclng between gunner and pilot in the german planes.

is there any key for switching the seats?

i just bought the game a few days ago and i love it but some keyassignment names are really weird and i cant allways figure out what they mean.

im running 2.09 with 2.08 multiskin btw.

I am thinking of buying this game, and i have a question; when attacking bombers, is it possible to kill the rear gunner? something so crucial to RAF tactics during the battle? Or does the rear gunner just fire until the plane is downed? Thanks.

when operating the gunner yourself you can be killed. also the rear and front gunners do stop firing after a while but whether its down to shooting them or they run out of ammo i dont know.

i got 2.08 and think its balls. looks great and all but ive noticed that some airfields cant be destroyed and as a dive bomber i cant seem to destroy the newly added buildings or strafe the new trucks etc

The required specs are quite low I believe, probaly around a AMD 2500+ and Geforce 6600, 512mb ram to play it on very good settings.

If you are willing to knock graphics down then you will be able to play it on a lesser rig
