BF3 is inferior to Bad Company 2 in respect to the knife mechanics. You can be a hunter in BC2, but if you tried this in BF3, it would only work if nobody ever saw you coming. It takes like 4 slices if they are shooting at you.
The one engineer that he runs up to near the end and knifes is using a shotgun. Those things can be extremely hard to aim, especially at a moving target, depending how sensitive your mouse is. That's why the Auto-Shotgun is so popular.
@Ricjuh Easy!? wow thats a good one man, when I needed to get the 4 knife kills in one match pin I just went to nonhardcore, it's just way to easy hardcore is more of a chellenge.
I don't play hardcore because every time I did there were a bunch of bushwookies that were always camping somewhere and thought it was funny ruining the gameplay for everyone else thinking they're skilled.

@Titanium1500 As you know, you can't shoot when sprinting. Crouching allows you to break sprint while still moving forward. This allows you to instantly attack/knife and is also the reason I do it.
If you lost sprint when removing your finger from your sprint button (shift by default) and would drop back to running, I wouldn't have used crouch-stabs. Unfortunately, you can't.
@Titanium1500 I always crouch before a knife kill simple reason is if they get alerted and shoot chances are they will miss the first few shots giving you a little extra time. I'm sure everyone has there own methods and reasons.
Meh... Pass... Too many CoD skills incorporated into BF now. It's all going to gob shite. Especially with that bunnyhopping. And they cant shoot you because of it. I cant tell you how many times I've turned the gun on people who try to sneak up behind me to get knife kills on me. I've only been knifed about.... 20 times out of maybe 200+ tries. However, its players like this that keep me from getting kills because they jump. So, yeah. No thanks. Have fun with MW3.

I checked your stats at bfbcs.com and it's kinda interesting that you have total 1804 dogtags but only 19 of them are golden dogtags. I think people can connect the dots here. Just saing...

Eventually they released a new patch that messed up the knife so I stopped knifing and instead picked up a new hobby: bolt action sniper rifle + red dot. Favs being the GOL and the M95.

Yes it's nice to knife snipers. I wouldn't say snipers are ALL pussies but only the gamers that generally ONLY play as a sniper. THOSE ARE THE TRUE PUSSIES.
Nice knife streak but can you do it in HArdcore mode. Much tougher... but Id recommend you go as Medic as you wont survive with all the hits you get. Softcore makes it easier to constantly knife because the health keeps on regenerating which I find annoying in a War shooter.

nice knifing, but you have to say that this server wasnt very highskilled. As we can see you got only bronze and silver Tags, which means all knifed people were below Level 40. I dont wanna judge everything by the level, but it stilly says something if a whole server is below 40...

@yangkx Through the wood yes. After the guy I tried to stab died I shortly noticed the other player's legs so I stabbed through the wood and got a kill, saving me from having to run around and preventing me from losing out on a kill :)

@AskariSin It isn't, no. But those 42 kills weren't all knife kills. I see atleast 5 Air Warfare Pins, which are awarded when you kill 5 players in air vehicles which equals atleast 25 kills with air vehicles ;)
@AskariSin The top part shows your kills in a round, the bottom part (total kills etc) is from multiple rounds so in that context, you did not get 51 kills in 1 match. Sorry :s
some nice knives in there. My all time fave way of knifing is when the enemy is shooting at you, and you jump about 10ft in the air at them and slice them in the face, they have no idea what hits them haha. There are 2 ways to hit, jab and slice. Slice barely does anything and jab is bugged. A couple of patches ago it was so messed up that you could only knife someone from their sides :s

Haven't touched the game for quite a while but last I played the knife bug was still there.
And if you're wondering why I stopped playing: I loved running around with bolt action sniper rifles using a RDS but no. DICE decided to gimp the hell out of them, forcing me to shoot twice at an enemy 15+ meters away. Basically, that and them resetting my cfg with a patch >:(

It's also a good way to cancel out sprinting because you can't knife or shoot when you sprint :)

So when I had a couple of kills at the first set of objectives I started recording :)
I evaluated them and I didn't consider them a serious threat so I just ran around killing them with a knife :)

@AskariSin It isn't, no. But those 42 kills weren't all knife kills. I see atleast 5 Air Warfare Pins, which are awarded when you kill 5 players in air vehicles which equals atleast 25 kills with air vehicles ;)

@AskariSin The top part shows your kills in a round, the bottom part (total kills etc) is from multiple rounds so in that context, you did not get 51 kills in 1 match. Sorry :s

some nice knives in there. My all time fave way of knifing is when the enemy is shooting at you, and you jump about 10ft in the air at them and slice them in the face, they have no idea what hits them haha. I get a lot of hate mail on BC2, just because i'm a girl, most people cant accept they just lost their dog tags to a female, its hilarious.

There are 2 ways to hit, jab and slice. Slice barely does anything and jab is bugged. A couple of patches ago it was so messed up that you could only knife someone from their sides :s

Haven't touched the game for quite a while but last I played the knife bug was still there.
And if you're wondering why I stopped playing: I loved running around with bolt action sniper rifles using a RDS but no. DICE decided to gimp the hell out of them, forcing me to shoot twice at an enemy 15+ meters away. Basically, that and them resetting my cfg with a patch >:(
