Probably a good thing the ratings have been disabled for this video. Saves me the trouble of creating 20 different accounts so I can give that many thumbs up to it.
Thanks alot. I have had trouble with the intro done by Keith Richards, this helps understand it. Keith does it in G. Thanks again, appreciate the lesson and explaining what chords he was playing around.
at least, this version sounds good without a band and it's close enough to R.J.
Overall critics of mine in the past - all that beginnerstuff you started up with in the recently younger past - is done by so much guitarplayer on the net already and I'm happy to see you turned back to the roots and not to the beginning "how to play a E7 chord", which might be helpful for a starter - however, thanks for sharing this wonderful peace of music.
@tom14854 Hi Tom, It actually sounds nothing like the Robert Johnson version. This is an easy option for the new player to try to get his or her head around. I try to include the beginner in a lot of my work and always will do. But thanks for the comment.
@jiros00 I actually think the stones version that's on the "Stripped" album is better. But don't get me wrong, RJ is the originator and can never be topped. Not even by Mr. Richards.
@colemckelviedotca Clapton is a poor man's Rolling Stones? He's a solo artist, they're a band, without each other, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would likely have remained unknown, Clapton has been on his own for nearly 5 decades. Don't get me wrong, I love the Stones, always have, but your statement is complete bollocks.
wow awesome....i missed the tunes like this when you id lots of of these ..clapton, Beatles, stones, .you had another name cannot remember what it was ,do you have those videos stil, think it was back in 2008........thanks

Lol, yep, I think he got it the wrong way. Clapton is the blues. Stones hover around the blues.
