  • you know in his mind when flying this he going like WHEEE!

  • The transmitter looks very similar to some of eflites RTF transmitters.

  • you are awsome!

  • is it from EPP?

  • how do you fly the havok mine just keeps spinning

  • hey you are making cool reviews it's your job or hobby? Good Job ;)

  • Can these things operate efficiently off of rechargable batteries?

  • That is a copy of hobbyzone's PTu witch is better

  • damn... air hogs really suck compared to other QUALITY brands

  • you look like hitlar lol

  • cut the fucking robot and finally you had an single blade copter for coaxial price! :3

  • Funny...

    Agent H Agent I

  • does it always move forward?

  • It amazes me that, that has a higher level of technology then an atomic weapon. Being that the rc heli was prototyped in 68 and finally became some what practical in the early 70s. This particular heli seemed really smooth and slow to react which is good for the beginner that seems to be a bit jerky with the controls. I don't like ir though, because of the whole line of site thing. It looked like the transmitter had 4 led ir so the amplitude of the signal should bounce off walls.

  • hey i waswondering since your like the r/c master could you tell me which r/c heli is the best in the price range of $100 by the way your the bomb please message me back

  • airhogs are copiers they so copied this from hobbyzone

  • you make it sound like some great find, its a crappy cheap china made toy, it'll break in a week

  • @TheGamerguyinit ur gay asshole

  • MW2Master36 fuck aff u wee basterd u dont know me so go pull ur head out ur ma's ass and grow up

  • i've gotten alot of airhogs products for my birthday and they never really worked, dont get me wrong. it was fun but for the 20 or 30 dollars u will spend you could put into a nice rc plane. that thing looks fun though. 5/5

  • Hmmm, very interesting, it's simply a helicopter with an action figure on the nose.

  • that acts as a weight, yes. but a good helicopter witha person-shaped wieght

  • Stupid toy. All Fome Copters/planes are a waist of time expecially when you have a celing fan i swear i spent 504 on a Havoc and it hit the fan when i was manuvering it.

  • then maybe you should manuver it more carefully? or maybe get a different one? or maybe try it outside, hm?

  • never buy some thing from air hogs if it is two channel three channel and a above i dont care if tis expinsive the two channels go up and down spin around and crash

  • flys up pulls out shotgun FUCK!!!!!!

  • it looks good

  • For all who read this comment.AIR HOGS SUCK!! It's a rc helicopter with an action figure connected to! ROTFL. Thats like a little kid putting his/hers G.I Joe or Barbie doll in a rc car and taking it for a ride.LOL!You would be surprised of what AIR HOGS think of. Now I'm not hating on the AIR HOGS products, they do have some nice rc aircrafts though. I just don't like this one.

  • what do you expect from a 2 channel kids toy

  • @ALLABOUTDABENS100 I agree this product is kidish but this guy replaced it with a havoc body.

  • really cool toy

  • definately

  • I saw the Globe & Anchor on your wall.

    Semper Fi !!!

Keep doing what you do brother!

  • ha!

I have seen one of them on ebay but with a snow man on it and the box said 'mystical mr xmas copter'

  • always fat dudes on those....

  • And always dumb fucks like you posting comments like that on places like this when some one is taking some time off to show you stuff for free. Idiot!

  • lol fuck you your probaly affended because you like those and your fat!

  • now i want one!

  • I want one ;D

  • can it hover? i wanna use it as a spy camera :)

  • I wouldn't buy one for the sole reason that it's made in China.

    And i hate China.

  • I know what you mean but EVERYTHING's made in china. Unfortunately

  • :( so deppressing.

  • HaHa..then turn of your tv/pc and stop watching this vid coz i could bet that there are a couple of components in your pc that are "MIC". And just dont forget to trash your tv on the way out...LOL

  • My computer and Television are made in America, And who's to say that you can vote me down for telling the truth?

We all know that China is full of inconsiderate bastards, that posion our children, pets, and parents. So why would we buy from them?

We as Americans need to do our part and not buy from China, They are full of shit.

hater thats why theres wars and shit now because people like you people cant learn to get along. what a bunch of shit ass people and i dont usually have a problem with no one but i have a problem with people who have problems for people just being people. thats like sooo fucking races

  • I just bought a brand new PIANO that was made in china, despite what all the bullshit critics and crap complain about them being cheap.

And guess what, IT'S AMAZINGLY well put together, and has great tone and action!

And, I got it brand new with 10 year warranty for $2500 shipped, installed, and tuned.

So fucking get over it. China finds great ways to make products in mass, and yes, some will be crap, be other can be good if not better than the things made in other countries, especially USA.

  • NOPE!

What you fail to see is that it IS PUT TOGETHER in America, and the crap to make it was made in china.

  • ok umm firstly idk if you some sort of nazi ass mofo but ya'll needa stop hatin on the chinnese!!!

    like americas any better

i got noo problem where my stuff comes from as long as i have it!! your such a hater if you think you can do better make a robot lets see how yo shit turns out!!! make a computer and tv well your at it too. • umm noo im not 7!! im 15. you dumbass learn to stop hatin' !!! i can spell thank you very much. what a total loser.

i don't care what you say..im going to go on with my precious life. >:ppp

  • Donut1192...Immature.

You're 15? Psh, Like anyone would believe that.

And there's some spelling errors on your comment you see, you didn't capatilize, >:ppp is not a word, and hatin' is not a word...So I suggest you go to school.

You really need to grow up, and most of America does....

  • precious life? go watch porn and masterbate you 15 year old.

  • i have one of these but they don't turn left

  • hi dave i just want to thank u for all of ur very helpful reviews and tips u pit on ur vids i have seen most of them and i find them very interesting and helpful keep it up :)

  • Thank you. I appreciate your comments. I will try.

  • well good sir. your tofuSHITzel comment isnt anything that I would regard as a normal comment (but it was funny tho :p) I won't say anything on the freedom matter (cause its off the point) Just to remember u again, I liked his review and I stated that the should stop the semiprofessional transitions bullshit... anyway why should there only be "yay your so awesome" "everything you do is great" comments?

cant I like the video and still give my opinion about the things that annoyed/upset me?

  • your right, shame on me... (for the spelling mistake)

but another question... why cant I just give a normal comment on this video? I even said that I liked it...

you didn't even made the video and can't hande criticism?! damn, what is wrong with u?

  • this is a cool video if your looking to buy similar for the kids

  • Thanks.

  • This was made a long time ago. I use better software and a HD camera, these days. I didn't claim to be a professional when I made this, as I just did it for fun.

  • Hey guy, Dave does a good job. If you dont like it, dont watch, that simple. We all go through a learning curve when making videos. Thanks for the comment and stick around, you might learn something.

  • by "interesting" around 1:00 you mean "damn i just got ripped off this shit is cheap"

wow it looks pretty cool though. Looks like fun.

  • I don't think so. I still have it and it still flies. The key is just don't crash it and make sure to modify it like I did with havoc body. It was fun back then, but newer stuff has arrived like my mini ch-47 Chinook.

  • you don't needs it so I can has?

  • i know something:take off the things which makes it fly and put that in a better robot and make it fly!!!!!!also why dont they hide the thing which makes it fly because it will look better!

  • You should see my video where I changed the body.

  • @_@

  • PUT A GYRO ON IT LOL

  • HOW MUCH?

  • A year ago, they were $49.99.

  • oh thanx

  • A Havoc or a Reflex.

  • That trimming stuff sure sucks to me too.

  • don't get this unless u know how to fly it. this piece of crap broke billions of times. if you crash it like ten times, something will break. get the havoc heli or anything else than this.

  • Well, Stormlaunchers need lots of room and a good understanding how to fly, as it is a lot different than an airplane.

The Robocopter can only be flown inside, but still is basically an elevator heli with no way to steer it, just go up and down or spin. Your choice.

  • LOL. Thanks.

  • cool!

  • Thanks.

  • hey i noticed that u have a storm launcher when u were flying it does it really fly high and can it go on water

  • Yes to all. See my videos, and especially "Will the sl work on water?"

  • i got one for 20

  • lmao my science teacher's name is Mr. Herbert, as well

  • Ha ha. It runs in the family. Don Herbert was Mr. Wizard.

  • your hobby its cool. i wish to have like your hobbyy!!

  • did you get your sl at stores or online and if i buy it off amazon will it still have the waranty incase anything goes wrong

  • God mine at Walmart, but Amazon has a good return policy too.

  • do you get paid for buying all these helis and airplanes?

  • Nope. I just buy them for myself if I see something cool.

  • how moch

  • I paid about $40 for this one at WalMart.

  • i got to of them on t.v and it cost me 146$!

  • You paid twice the price of what they originally cost. Bummer.

  • sorry i take it back but i think it got hair in the tail rotor becouse i have two dogs

  • That will do it...So will chewing it up! LOL.

  • I bought this chopper due to your review. Best $20 I have ever spent. Loads of fun. Thanks for taking the time to post your videos!!

  • Thanks. Glad your having fun with it.

  • i had a havoc heli and it wouldnt fly when i got it out and charged it and i know how to fly them

  • Take it back.

  • so does this really fly and how long does it fly for is it worth 30 $

  • Well, the video should answer the flying question. It flies fine, it is the Pilots that usually are the problem, as all helis are difficult for most to master. Not much you can buy for $30, these days, so I thought it was worth it to me.

  • i know i hae a rc car and used to have a havoc and they bouth hade 8

  • Yea, real cars and planes and helis cant take crashes either.

  • i was supresed that the robocopter uses only 4 aa batterys in the remote

  • Yes. My remote in My Blade 400, is a 2.4GHZ and they only use 4 batteries also, surprising me too, when I have been using 8 for so many years.

  • I had something kind of like that for a while, really easy to fly really smooth, but I eventually burned out the motor. Still, lots of fun!

  • Yeah, they are so much fun, it is easy to forget to only fly 5 minutes and then let the motors cool... or crash and leave the motor running, as I did in this video.. LOL!

  • where can you purchase one of these?

  • Got mine at Target, but Walmart and Shopko sells them too.

  • Thanks kindly for those comments.

  • So This is a really good 2 chanel heli?

  • This is better than the havoc type helis, but again, it is still an Elevator heli. It has no rotor blade steering controls. It also tips over very easily.

  • o.k

  • In stead of answearing to nightflyyer2(I changed my acount name) answear to Sethstonflyer

  • Thank you for that. It makes it way more easier for me to read and comment on the over 120 video comments a day I answer without seeing all my name (or something close) all over the place. Welcome.

  • Your welcome

  • sweeet

  • I like your vid Davis. I bought a robo copter from the BBT store. At my fist flight it was a really smouth, but then of course landing it got kind of hard. The 2 feet of the guy broke of and the right hand also broke. I fixed it with super glue. But I might get another one.

When did you get your Robo Copter? Where? Was it $30.00?

    Regards

    David G.

  • Thank you sir. I got my Robocopter at Walmart about 2 months ago on sale for $35.

Did you see my RObocopter Extreme makeover movie? It is above this message as a video response.

  • Yes Davis, I saw your Robocopter Extreme makeover movie. It was very helpful of you. Thank you. Have you broke any parts on the robocopter yet? Or is it still like it came out of the box? Do you like it? You have 2 havoc heli's a red and blue one, 1 honeybee that is blue and my favorite the robocopter that is white if i'm correct. From which Walmart store did you get the robocopter from? In Santa Maria?

What are you going to buy next?

    Regards

    David G.

  • Santa Maria? I live in Iowa, USA and got it in Walmart in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Robocopter flys way smoother than the havocs, and you will see a big difference, if you get one. Ive not broken anything on my havocs because I always shut it off before I hit anything.

  • Yes Santa Maria is where I live. It's in California. I've never been in Lowa. have you bought more then 1 Robocopter? Or do you just have 1 right now? I love Air Hogs their cool.

For how long have you been flying these toys for? Do you think that Robocopters and Havocs are easy to break, because of what they are made out of?

  • Only 1 Robocopter. It should last a long time.

I have been flying everything I could find since I was 12 and still now at 60. Great fun, because that keeps you young.

  • How many vids have you done in total with all rc toys? You no back in Santa Maria at a Walmart store they sell the robocopters for $49.99 which i think is a ripe of, for a toy like the robocopter. I wonder why the walmart store that you bought yours at sold it for just $35.00. I wish that my walmart in santa maria could sell that toy for that price. So i have to spend $53.86. Don't you think thats a rip of for a toy like this?

  • $35. That is cheap. Tis is far better than the havocs or reflex. This is a robocopter, not a Millenium. The M sells for more because it has a different radio.

  • i got mine for $25

  • Have you noticed how oddly similar the Airhogs Robo Copter is to the HobbyZone Millenium PTU?

  • Ha ha... Wait till you see my next video. Did you know the PTU has a 2.4ghz radio and the Airhogs (at around $35 versus $50), is Infrared? Stay tuned.

  • nice workk dave :D, no offence but airhogs have literly stripped the havoc down and threw a foam robot on it and done stuff to it, my opinion is the havocs better :D whats your opinion m8ey !, once agen great vid tho!!

  • Thanks. Well the electronics are much better! Wait til you see my next video.

  • dave may i ask one thing, have u got a helicopter called, "ef sabre!? because im about to get 1 but i just want to see a full video on how to work it, and how it works, like most of ur videos :D if u can thanks m8ey !

  • I do. It is inop these days, but was a fun helicopter. It is similar to the Honeybee Fixed pitch. They all work the same.

  • quality, may u make a video on it please :D i just want to see how that baby runs, i just want to see if its good enough for me to get, i have £70, im ready to buy it from a shop i no called hobby stores, i just want to know if it is up t my standards. thanks dave :)

  • The Storm Launcher looks lonely back there. I think it might be jealous. :-)

  • Ha ha ha. I'll go talk to it..LOL!

  • cool vid.

  • Thank you kindly. IT's fun!

  • Thanks. Well, if they put this fin and the longer, bigger tail rotor and boom on a havoc with the special gyro lock for the tail, you sure would have a great havoc.

I may make my own body for this one.

  • Great video as always. I wonder how it compares to the Millenium PTU.

  • I don't know. I saw your video, and it sure looks the same. The rights to private label these, under different names, seems to be the norm these days. Thanks for the kudos.

  • wow, looks like a great toy! great review, dave.

  • Thanks you sir. Yep, lots of fun.

  • Great Vid. Dave!

  • Thanks very kindly.

  • Thanks Dave for another fine and entertaining review. If I get one of these I might tape a plastic coffee stirrer to the little guys feet crossways. Then magic marker it black. Give him a little bigger footprint for stability.

  • Thanks for that. I agree. I think it would be better for a triangular footprint, for sure~

It sure flies smooth once it is up, though.

  • is it 2 chan or 3 ?

  • It is a 2 channel, just like the Havocs.

  • this isi a great video. i love it because i don't think you have mad a video in the house. and is the robocopter any different from the havoc heli

  • Thank you kindly sir.

  • I think the robot was just a ploy to obtain a better flying machine. The legs of that robot must for a lower center of gravity. Sort of like ballast or a keel on a boat. They probably had a strange looking designed helicopter that would fly but they dint know what people would think. So why not just release it as its own product.. it looks to me like they addressed a few problems the havoc had. This makes it easier to fly for kids and maybe more attractive for kids too.

  • Actually, it is top heavy and keeps falling over as you can see. I wish it had heavy LG's. The other parts are definitely improved over the Havoc!. I think complaints will come from it falling over. There is even a suggestion in the Instructions that says, if that happens, increase throttle faster.

  • Its center of gravity is higher FROM THE TABLE UP both sitting on the table. In flight the center of gravity it much lower when compared to the havoc heli, MEASURED FROM THE ROTOR DOWN to the center of gravity. You will find it is much lower than the havoc. Lower center of gravity measured from the rotor down.

  • I know. Helicopters hang from the ROTOR BLADES and all weight is supposed to be centered right under the main rotor shaft. This Helicopter is 3 inches higher than the Havoc on its LEGs, so it's sitting way up there and can tip over very easy ON THE GROUND, not in the air. It flies fine in the air.

It needs more tail weight in my opinion, as it barely stands by itself without falling over.

Even the directions address the falling over problem.

  • your right! they are top heavy when launching. i didnt mean to offened or anyhting. i just was speculating the reason they made this helicopter. WHY the Robot SHAPE? thats all...i still think it was becouse that shape flies better...

sorry if you feel like i was not being respectuful. or if i offended you in any way.

  • Thanks. They will never watch it, probably.

  • ok 2 questions why such a price difference from the havoc isint it basicly the same thing and how does the big circle thing around the tailrotor help

  • There is some kind of gyro on it and a bigger tailr rotor motor. The big thing is a fin and also keeps it from jerking, like on my Notars.

  • this is the second helicopter design that Airhogs has stolen from other companies. Parkzone actually created this product first and this is a clone. Also the havoc heli's was stolen from the Silverlit Picco-Z.

  • I know the guy personally who invented the Picco Z. He invented the Piccolo Heli too, which you can see on the top shelf in my den. I was told he sold the rights to Ikarus, and they sold them to Airhogs.

  • Incorrect sir.

The Picoo Z (is also sold under the brand name of Air Hogs Havoc Heli in North America as well as Honey Bee in Japan, China, and other countries)

As far as I know airhogs is own by or a division of spinmaster who also owns or parents silverlit toys. I may have there working relationships wrong I am not certain 100% but I know for fact that they are all the same thing really.

  • Exactly... They are all the same, but different divisions working under one corporation.

  • Cool flying "robot". What will Airhogs think of next? Great video, Dave!
