@kilgora1 It's actually the simplest set up ever. All I had when I recorded this was a M-Audio Profire 2626 interface. Mic directly into the XLR.  Recorded directly into Garageband. No eq fuss or anything. This was with a flat eq :) Bare bones on this one.

@AtTheSeam88 Not a dumb question at all :) I record the video in iMovie and at the same time I simultaneously record the vocals over the original track in Garage Band.  I now use Pro Tools to record but the same idea.

@Sig552M you would never strain or 'force' the throat as most people like to use (as an excuse to cheat screamo) look on some videos on how to train the false chords on your larynx then boost the tone with your diaphragm - had to reply as most learners do it the wrong way... cept this guy, hes cool ha
